Preity Zinta once addressed her linkup with Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh and revealed that he is like her brother.
The dimpled beauty of Bollywood, Preity Zinta made her sensational debut with Mani Ratnam’s film, Dil Se, opposite Shah Rukh Khan and since then, there has been no looking back for her. The bubbly actress proved her versatility with films like Soldier, Sangharsh, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Laskhya, Koi…Mil Gaya, Veer-Zaara and many more.
Apart from her professional life, Preity has often gained attention for her personal life. The actress was rumoured to be dating some of the biggest names from the glamour, business and sports world. And one of them was cricketer, Yuvraj Singh. Preity and Yuvraj’s relationship rumours began when they came together for IPL (Indian Premier League).

Yuvraj was one of the star batsmen of Preity’s team, KXIP (Kings XI Punjab). During every match, pictures and videos of Preity and Yuvraj celebrating their team’s victories circulated through social media. The two were spotted together at multiple events, giving a fair share of fodder to the gossip mills.
However, both Yuvraj and Preity denied the speculations and often called each other best buddies. Preity once addressed the rumours in an interview with DNA and stated:
“I am a private person. I am amazed when I see so much being written about my life, without being confirmed by me. It has stopped bothering me, but there are a few things which I have taken to heart. When I was linked with Yuvraj Singh and Brett Lee – I will never forget that. They are my brothers. And I have decided to personally visit Lee and Yuvi on Raksha Bandhan and tie rakhis to them.”

Another popular name with which Preity Zinta’s name was linked was popular filmmaker, Shekhar Kapur. For the unversed, Preity Zinta had given the first audition of her life to Shekhar Kapur, and he was the one, who recommended her name to Mani Ratnam for her debut film, Dil Se. However, as per Shekhar’s wife, actress, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Shekhar and Preity were more than just good friends; and their affair disturbed her married life with Shekhar. However, Preity denied the allegations and stated that Suchitra wasn’t mentally well.
In 2016, Preity tied the knot with Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in LA. The ceremony was attended only by their family and close friends. In 2021, Preity Zinta announced the biggest good news of her life. The actress announced the news of being blessed with twins, a son named Jai and a daughter named Gia, via surrogacy.
Preity Zinta is happily settled in the US with her husband, Gene Goodenough and their twins.
