Recently, a source close to the former royal couple spoke to Page Six and revealed a big detail about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s plan for their second child's birth. When Meghan was pregnant for the first time, back in May of 2019, the couple had initially intended to give birth at their home at Frogmore Cottage in London, England. Now, according to the source, it seems like the couple is going to try home birth for their baby girl as well. The source was quoted as saying, “But she has a beautiful home in California, it’s a beautiful setting to give birth to her baby girl.” The source also added that during the couple's first baby's birth, Meghan's doctors had advised her to go to hospital and then all she was interested in was about delivering Archie safely.

In a conversation with legendary conservationist and scientist, Dr Jane Goodall for a story in the September issue of British Vogue, Prince Harry had expressed his desire to have a maximum of two children with his wife, Meghan Markle. He had said, "Two, maximum! But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. During their 'much-talked' interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple had revealed that Meghan is due sometime this summer. Harry had said, “To have any child, any one or any two, would have been amazing. But to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for?” Revealing his feelings upon learning the baby is a girl, Harry had continued, "Grateful, having any child, any one or a two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl . . . now we've got our family, and we've got four of us."

Around the same time, Misan Harriman had released a photograph of the couple with their son, Archie. In the picture, Harry had hugged Meghan as she had held Archie in her arms. The to-be mommy had donned a flowy, floral-printed maxi dress by La Ligne and had flaunted her baby bump.

Speaking in an ITV documentary, Meghan Markle had once spoken about her journey during her first pregnancy and when asked if it would be fair to say it had "really been a struggle", she had retorted, "Yes." Revealing how she was coping up, Meghan had said, "Look, any woman - especially when they are pregnant - you're really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging, and then when you have a new born - you know? And especially as a woman, it's a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. And also, thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I'm OK."
