Kate donned the stunning tiara to Buckingham Palace's annual Diplomatic Corps reception. The duchess looked breathtaking in her full-sleeved rose-gold embellished gown by Jenny Packham. She even paired her iconic chandelier diamond earring with the outfit to add that extra bling to her already glitzy presence.
The Lover's Knot tiara is said to be Princess Diana's favourite, and it is also one of Kate's favourites. The duchess has worn the tiara 12 times since 2015, and this was her 13th time. Apart from the tiara, the diamond Greville chandelier earring was also a royal tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth. The Late Queen treasured the earring as it was the wedding gift she received from her parents on marrying Prince Philip.

The lover's knot tiara has a century-old history with the British monarchs. The tiara was originally owned by Queen Mary, who was Queen Elizabeth II's grandmother. It originally only featured pearls, but later, the Queen modified it with diamonds and converted it into a tiara. After Princess Diana's marriage, the tiara was given to her as a gift from Queen Elizabeth and later to Kate. The tiara is estimated to be worth around USD 1-2 million.
