Family Man actress, Priyamani played an important role in Shah Rukh Khan's, Jawan . The actress has always been subjected to trolls, and her reaction to the same has now gone viral. There was a time when the actress had opened up about the negativity she had got online, where people used to body shame her and comment on her skin color and her overall appearance. She was also called 'old' and 'black' by the trollers.
Priyamani, once in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, revealed that when she used to post pictures without makeup, half of them told her that with makeup, she looked good, and without makeup, she looked like an aunty. She had given an epic reply to them that read:
"So what! If not today, tomorrow you will also become an aunty. I am 38 years old, but I am still hot, though. Shut your mouth. I feel why should I change myself to please you. This is me, this is who I am, and I am very comfortable with the way I am."
The actress concluded by saying she is appealed by so many negative reactions. She also told people to grow up and said it was her life and that she was not answerable to anyone apart from her parents and fiance.
One user on Reddit appreciated the actress for responding strongly and wrote, "Good for her! Great to see her respond to troll so strongly." Another one wrote, "I don't get it, aunties are hot." A third one also commented, "Well, she isn't wrong; she is hot. Anyone who thinks otherwise, excuse me."
Priyamani has had successful films in her kitty, ranging from Jawan and Maidaan to her web show, Family Man . The actress had an interfaith marriage with Mustafa Raj, and earlier, she revealed how she was trolled for the same. In an interview with Galatta India, she said:
"To be honest, it did affect me. Not only me per se but my family also, especially my father and mother. But I have to say my husband stood by me as a rock. He said, 'Look, whatever happens, I. Will let everything come to me first. But all I would say is hold my hand and be with me through every step."
Priyamani also added that even when she was seeing Mustafa , there were rumors of the actress being trolled. She told him to stand by her and trust the process as they took the step together and decided to spend the rest of their lives. She was upset as she wasn't in Mumbai at that time, but she was in Bangalore with her husband. However, she and Mustafa took care of everything and didn't let it hinder her parents. She just sought their blessings and told them not to be bothered by the trolls, as she and Mustafa would handle it.
