Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta were one of the most lovable TV couples since they were paired as the lead in the TV show, Udaariyaan. The duo’s sizzling on-screen chemistry was always their fan’s favourite. Following the ongoing buzz on social media related to the couple’s alleged breakup, Priyanka took a dig at the speculations around, by sharing an IG story.
Amidst the ongoing social media buzz surrounding her breakup with Ankit Gupta, Priyanka strongly reacted to the gossip and penned down a note in her Instagram story. With a lot of frustration due to the breakup gossip, Priyanka wrote that the industry would have been more successful if people gave their attention to the work. She was quoted as saying:
“If only work got the same attention as private matters, this industry would be unstoppable.”
Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Priyanka shared her views on how good it is to move on in life, whether it be a relationship or fashion. She stated that changes or evolving in life should always be considered good. Addressing the same, she said:
"I believe it is always good to evolve- changes are always good. One has to move forward in order to evolve. So, definitely, it is a good thing to evolve, whether it is in a relationship or fashion."
The duo’s breakup buzz began when Priyanka and Ankit unfollowed each other on Instagram. Later, Ankit Gupta’s shocking exit from the show, Tere Ho Jaayein Hum, which featured Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, had intensified the buzz. Fans were shocked by Ankit's decision and wondered if he took the decision in a fit of rage with Priyanka. Later on, confirming his exit from the show, Ankit revealed to Bollywood Bubble:
"Yes, I backed out of the project with Ravi Sargun. I don't think that I would be able to do something for that project right now. And maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge myself. And as I said, maybe that's the reason I will not do Khatron Ke Khiladi also this year. I'm just taking time for myself, so I'm not thinking about work right now."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Priyanka once shared details about her beautiful bond with Ankit. She stated that he was the only person who would always show up whenever she needed him. She further wished that their bond remained the same forever. Speaking of the same, Priyanka said:
"The best thing is Mumbai mein kyuki apki family bhi nahi rehti hai, then you know ki koi hai who takes care of you, ya jise main ek call kar sakti hun and he'll be there. It's definitely a beautiful bond, and main chahti hun ki ye rahe hamesha rahe."
