The couple had delighted their massive fanbase by announcing the biggest' good news' of their lives as they embraced parenthood by welcoming a baby girl via surrogacy. Ever since then, Nick and Priyanka are keeping a low profile, and their fans are eagerly waiting to witness their favourite couple, acing their parenting duties.
It was on January 22, 2022, when Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas, had taken to their respective social media handles to announce the good news. Sharing a picture note, Priyanka and Nick had revealed that they had welcomed their first baby via surrogacy. The couple had also requested privacy from everyone so that their family could celebrate the occasion. Their note could be read as:
"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

On February 20, 2022, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were spotted in the city as they took out some time from their parenting duties. Pictures and videos from the same are doing rounds on social media. In the pictures, we can see Nick and Priyanka holding each other's hands as they made their way through the crowd. While Nick opted for a striped hoodie and white pants, Priyanka looked pretty in a white and blue shirt, which she paired with a tank top and a pair of jeans. They both had their masks on. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also shared a glimpse of her Sunday outing with her hubby, Nick Jonas, on her IG stories. She dropped an adorable picture, in which she can be seen holding Nick's hand as he was driving. Sharing the picture, atop it, she penned:
"My favourite kind of Sunday."
On February 12, 2022, Nick Jonas had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video, in which he could be seen sipping some beverage from a white mug while walking and soaking some sunlight in his lawn area. The singer had looked handsome as always in a green shirt over his white vest. However, what had caught everyone's attention was the automated sound that could be heard saying, "Woke up feeling like." After which, Nick had looked into the camera and had said:
"Let's make it a great day."

According to a report in the Daily Mail, a source close to the couple had revealed that Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had wanted to have a baby together for quite some time. However, their schedules had hampered their family planning. The source had added that owing to their busy schedule, the couple had explored other options. Nick and Priyanka were connected with a woman in Southern California by an agency, and they had believed her to be a good match. The source was quoted as saying:
"Priyanka doesn't have any fertility issues preventing her from having a baby, but she is 39 now so it's not getting any easier. Their busy work schedules also mean that it's difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago they went down the surrogacy route. This is the woman's fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her."
On February 3, 2022, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had made a comeback on Instagram and had dropped the first pictures after her baby's birth. The actress had shared two mirror files that she had clicked in her car while soaking in the sun. The glow on her face was unmissable, and it was evident that she was happy after embracing motherhood. Sharing the pictures, Priyanka had penned in the caption:
"The light feels right."
For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas had got married on December 1, 2018, at a royal wedding ceremony at Umaid Bhawan.
