From a groom's vs bride's cricket match to a fun-filled mehendi and a groovy sangeet ceremony, one thing is clear- Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s last week at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur was a lit with masti and dhamal. Priyanka and Nick’s Jodhpur wedding was nothing less than royal, and their pictures surely speak a thousand words. After the absolute breathtaking photos and videos from Priyanka and Nick’s white and desi weddings, the newly-weds hosted a wedding reception at Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi. Mr and Mrs Jonas looked totally besotted with each other, which made everyone swoon over them all over again. While Priyanka wore a champagne coloured lehenga by Falguni Shane and Peacock, Nick looked dapper in a navy velvet suit, and they looked drop-dead-gorgeous as they posed for the shutterbugs.
Priyanka and Nick also posed with their family on-stage for the paparazzi. Priyanka's family including her mom Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra were seen while Nick's parents Kevin Sr and Denise Jonas along with Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner posed for the shutterbugs present there. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too, graced Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding reception in Delhi. Elaborating the intricate details about Priyanka’s lehenga, Falguni Shane Peacock India took to their Instagram handle and wrote, "I do @priyankachopra And @nickjonas. PRIYANKA CHOPRA IN A CUSTOM @falgunishanepeacockindia beaded outfit took 12000 hours of 80 craftsmen and a millions of crystals that sparkled and sang I DO." Priyanka and Nick, both wore Sabyasachi for their Hindu wedding and the talented designer gave everyone an insight into the bride and groom’s ensembles. Sabyasachi shared a photo of the couple and captioned it, “Priyanka Chopra makes for a stunning bride in a custom red Sabyasachi lehenga. Hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals and layer upon layer of threadwork embroidery creates this piece of impossible couture.” (Also Read: Priyanka Chopra Couldn't Control Her Tears Seeing An Emotional Nick Jonas On Their White Wedding) Revealing that it took 110 embroiderers from Calcutta, India who took 3720 hours to create this modern masterpiece and her jewellery was an ode to the glorious Mughal jewellery, Sabyasachi further added, “Her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold. It also had delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to give it a sense of whimsy to an important traditional piece.” Revealing the details about the groom’s outfit, Sabyasachi wrote, “Nick Jonas wore a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue saafa. His rose cut kalgi and Syndicate diamond necklace are from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection.” Meanwhile, Ralph Lauren, who designed Priyanka and Nick’s outfits from their western wedding, revealed the details about the bride and groom’s ensembles. Sharing a picture of the couple, they wrote, "Ralph Lauren is honored to announce that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were married wearing custom Ralph Lauren. The bride’s strapless column dress embellished with pearlescent sequins was overlaid with a hand-embroidered, high-neck coat with scalloped sleeves and satin-covered buttons. The embroidery included eight significant words and phrases selected by the bride, including “Family”, “Hope”, and “Compassion”.” Explaining the groom’s outfit, they further added, “The groom wore a Purple Label double-breasted tuxedo with a piece of the bride’s dress hand-embroidered with the Urdu words ‘My Jaan’ (meaning My Life) at the interior lapel of the jacket, just over his heart.
