Priyanka Chopra has the sweetest birthday wish for her husband, Nick Jonas, as the American singer turned a year older on September 17, 2024.
Priyanka Chopra, aka our Desi Girl, is happily married to the love of her life, Nick Jonas. The duo broke all stereotypes by tying the knot in an inter-religion marriage and overlooked their huge age gap. Priyanka and Nick have always been each other's pillars of strength and shelling major couple goals. Now, as Nick turned a year older, Priyanka shared the most heartwarming post for him.
On September 17, 2024, Priyanka Chopra took to her IG handle to share a series of pictures as she and her daughter, Malti, attended Nick Jonas' concert in London. In the first picture, Priyanka and Nick can be seen posing with Malti. While the actress looked gorgeous in an orange-hued bodycon dress, Nick opted for a blue-hued jacket and trousers. Their little munchkin was seen dressed in a brown and white outfit and holding her parents close to her.
The next slide showed Nick Jonas performing live on the stage and wooing the audience with his melodious voice. Sharing the carousel of pictures, Priyanka penned the sweetest birthday wish for her husband and Malti's dad, which can be read as:
"Happiest birthday to the best husband and dad. You make all our dreams come true .. everyday.. we love you @nickjonas."
Nick Jonas has been tagged as the 'national jiju', a fond nickname given to him by the Indians, ever since he married Priyanka Chopra. During his appearance on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, Nick opened up about the origin of his special nickname and explained its meaning. Jimmy also played a video from the Jonas Brothers' concert at the Lollapalooza film festival in Mumbai, wherein Kevin introduced Nick to the crowd as "Jiju, ladies and gentlemen!" Revealing that after he got married to Priyanka, he became 'national jiju', Nick said:
"As you know I am married to Priyanka. When we got married, this hashtag started. I was ‘National Jiju.’ Jiju means elder sister's husband, so effectively I'm the older brother to India, which is very sweet."
