In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Priyanka Chopra opened up about how she and husband Nick Jonas are keeping in touch with their family and loved ones.

It was in the year 2016 when Nick Jonas had sent a direct message to Priyanka Chopra on Twitter, and she had asked him to send her a text instead, and the duo had exchanged numbers. And the rest? Well, that's history! So yeah, a lot can happen over a 'message'. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas had become each other's forever on December 1-2, 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace as per both Christian and Hindu rituals.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Priyanka Chopra opened up about how she and husband, Nick Jonas are keeping in touch with their family and loved ones. She said, "If you have the ability to have a human connection with friends, family, whether that's virtually or whether that's in a socially distant way, I think that's really important to feel a sense of normalcy." She also talked about her life with her hubby in this global pandemic, and said, "I'm asthmatic and my husband's type 1 diabetic, so we have to be even more careful. But there have been a lot of Zoom calls and Zoom brunches. We have a really large friends and family group, and I've had a lot of birthdays in my family that have happened recently, so we've done a few socially distanced lunches."
During the interview, she also talked about how she has been focusing on her career and social life during the pandemic. She said, "As a creative person, for me, a lot of projects ended up happening during this quarantine. I've been developing shows and movies, writing, and I finished my memoir. It's been a creatively sound time, besides being absolutely strange."
Some time ago, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had talked about her bittersweet experience with the United States. Priyanka had faced racist behaviour when she had gone to the US for her studies. Despite all odds, Priyanka is thankful to the US for giving her Nick Jonas as her husband. She had said, "There was one time when America took so much from the country, and I was like, 'Get lost, I'm going back to India', because I felt too small as a teenager. But it was also because I was insecure. So now when I went back this time, I was a lot more secure in my own feet. The country has given me respect, my family, my husband, my home and a different career that I started in my 30s." Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been giving glimpses of their quarantine life. Some days ago, in an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Priyanka had revealed her favourite dish prepared by hubby, Nick. She had talked about the special brunch dish and had stated that Nick makes "amazing" Tuna sandwiches for her. Priyanka had also admitted that she is not very good at cooking as she doesn't like it. She had further stated that her favourite dish in the menu is avocado toast with fried egg, pickles and chilli.
