Priyanka Chopra responded to Shah Rukh Khan's old remark about not moving to Hollywood while promoting her upcoming series, 'Citadel'.
The global diva, Priyanka Chopra is one of the most beautiful actresses in the entertainment industry who began her career in films after winning the Miss World pageant in 2000. Priyanka has been in the headlines ever since the first teaser of the series, Citadel was released on Amazon Prime Video. In a recent interview, the desi girl responded to Shah Rukh Khan's old remark about not moving to Hollywood.
In a recent promotion of her upcoming series, Citadel, Priyanka Chopra was asked by an interviewer about Shah Rukh Khan's old statement on why he doesn't think about starring in a Hollywood film. Responding to the question, the Mary Kom actress said that for her being comfortable is boring. She further mentioned that she doesn't need any executives' validation as she does not carry the baggage of her success from one country to another. In her words:
"Comfortable is boring to me. I am not arrogant, I am self-assured. I know what I am doing when I walk onto a set. I don't need the validation of executives. I am willing to take auditions, I am willing to work. I do not carry the baggage of my success in one country when I walk into another country."

In the same interview, Priyanka talked about her professionalism and took pride in it. She mentioned how her father, who was in the military, has taught her the value of discipline. Talking about the same, Priyanka added:
"I am very professional and if you ask people around me, I am known for my professionalism. I take pride in it. My father was in the military and he taught me the value of discipline. He taught me not to take the value of what you have been given for granted."
Earlier, during her appearance in The Ranveer Show, Priyanka shared how there was a time when people in the Indian film industry tried their best not to let her work. Talking about the same, the actress shared:
"I have had people wanting to jeopardise my career, take away from my work, make sure I wasn't cast just because I was doing well in what I was doing."

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be seen in an upcoming American drama television series, Citadel set to release on Amazon Prime Video. Besides that, she is all set to grace the silver screen with her upcoming film, Love Again, which is expected to release on May 12, 2023.
