Recently, Priyanka Chopra who is about to complete 25 years in cinema shared how she deals with difficult days at work and manages her emotions.
Priyanka Chopra is one of the most popular actresses of our generation. The diva entered the film industry after winning the prestigious Miss World pageant in 2000 and became one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. However, Priyanka didn't stop there and made her way into Hollywood, where she gained unprecedented success as an Indian actress. Despite achieving one milestone after another in her career, Priyanka still works hard and strives to be better. In a new interview, the actress shed light on how she deals with her difficult days and prepares for work.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra sat down for an interview with Vogue India. During the conversation, she discussed dealing with bad days at work just like anyone else. For the unversed, Priyanka often shares pictures of her injuries and bruises from shooting schedules on her Instagram handle. The Fashion actress revealed that she deals with it by reminding herself about her privileges and love for her work. She was quoted as saying:
"I have bad days just like everyone else, but I remind myself what a privilege it is to have all that I do, and I stop complaining and go do my job. I put my feelings aside and deal with them when I get home."
In her personal life, Priyanka is married to actor-singer, Nick Jonas, and the couple have a daughter, Malti Marie. The actress, who was recently shooting for her upcoming film, The Bluff, in Australia, admitted it was difficult and isolating to travel to a different country for a long schedule. However, she felt happy to have her daughter and mother in Australia and enjoyed spending time with her husband, who managed to fly out by taking time from his busy schedule to visit them. In her words:
"It's been amazing to have them with me in Australia, but if I am being totally honest, it's also really challenging and somewhat isolating to be so far away from everything. My husband is busy with touring at the moment, but he finds the time to fly in for that extra TLC whenever he can."
In the same interview, Priyanka mentioned how she learned early in her career that she has to come prepared for her film sets. Priyanka is proud of her habit because she understands how there are 300 people on set waiting for her to complete her work. She said:
"I don't like to come on set unprepared or keep anyone waiting because I'm aware that there are about 300 people on a crew who are waiting for me to do my job properly for us to move on to the next thing. It's a lot of pressure, but now almost 25 years into my career, it's something I'm very proud of having learnt early on."
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the romantic-comedy film, Love Again. She will next be seen in Heads Of State, directed by Ilya Naishuller. At the same time, the actress has been working on her upcoming film, The Bluff.
