And Bollywood actress-turned-Hollywood diva, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shares a beautiful bond with her sister-in-law, Sophie Turner. Priyanka and Sophie are known as the famous 'J-Sisters'. We remember how once in an interview, the actress' brother-in-law, Joe had revealed about their bond. From partying together to going on vacation, Priyanka and Sophie do it all together like real sisters.
Recently, in an interview with the Indulge Express, Priyanka revealed an interesting detail about her bond with Sophie. She said, "My jethani-devrani? (Laughs out loud.) Sophie calls herself ‘jethani’ (elder sister-in-law). She’s like, you have to listen to me, I’m the jethani. She loves being jethani." In the same interview, Priyanka also talked about how they come with their nickname of 'J-Sisters'. She stated, "Might have been me. It actually happened at my bachelorette. It started as a joke that if they are Jonas Brothers, we can be Jonas Sisters, since there were all three of us (Danielle, Sophie and Priyanka). It just became a thing."
Earlier, in an interview with AOL, Joe Jonas had talked about the sisterly bond between Sophie and Priyanka. He had stated, “They have this camaraderie now that they feel is not only friendship, but it's family. That's what every brother wants. You want to have that relationship where everyone looks out for one another."
He had also added, “They've gotten really close, and it's really cool to see their friendship grow, They were friends before we even met. Sophie shot 'X-Men' on the same lot that [Priyanka] shot 'Quantico' for a while, so they would spend a lot of time together, which made it even more special once Nick and Pri obviously got together.”
Coming to Priyanka's life as 'Mrs Jonas', the actress had shared, "I'd never realised having a husband and a boyfriend are such different things. When you say your vows, it's like, this person is my family, and it's the family I chose. There's a weird responsibility to them. And a safety that comes from it,' she grins.
