The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child with Prince Harry last night (May 6, 2019) at their residence and Prince Harry was along her side the entire time. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed a baby boy and the entire clan is super-excited on the little munchkin’s arrival. The royal baby is currently the 7th in line for the throne after his cousins. No matter how busy Priyanka is with her professional tight-packed schedule, but she hasn’t forgotten to wish and congratulate her dear pal, Meghan and Prince Harry. Amidst her busy schedule at Met Gala 2019 preparations, PeeCee took to social media to congratulate the newbie parents.
Meghan's dear friend, Priyanka couldn’t keep calm on the arrival of the royal baby and took to her official Instagram handle to congratulate the couple. PeeCee had shared an Instagram story atop which it was written, "Congratulations M & H”, followed by a big beating heart emoji. Here’s the snapshot of Priyanka’s Instagram story:
The Instagram page named, The Royal Family announced the happy news of the arrival of Meghan and Prince Harry’s first baby together. The page has shared a post, captioning it as, "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. It could further be read as, “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news. A source told BAZAAR.com months earlier that Meghan had a practical reason to miss Nickyanka’s wedding. An insider had stated at that time, "The couple was invited to all of the celebrations in India but given how much travel would be involved for Meghan, who’s now five months pregnant, they decided against it."
During an interview with Extra, Priyanka had the best things to say about her close friend Meghan’s pregnancy news. She had stated, "I'm super excited. A few of my friends are having babies, so, this is that time, I guess — I'm having baby fever now." And when E! News asked her about the same at the Golden Heart Awards, she laughed out and said, "I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I'm like, 'God I need to catch up!'" Prior to this, Priyanka had many times expressed her desire to have kids. As per a People report, Priyanka spoke highly about having a family in future and was quoted as saying, “I am a very live in the today — maximum live-in-the-next-two-months kind of person. But [in] 10 years, I definitely want to have kids. That is, it's definitely going to happen in the next 10 years. Well, hopefully earlier than that. I'm very fond of children and want to be able to do that.”
