PeeCee, as Priyanka Chopra’s fans fondly call her, met her singer-songwriter beau, Nick's family during his cousin's wedding in New Jersey, where she went as his ‘plus one’. And now, Priyanka invited Nick to Mumbai to meet her family and friends. On June 22, 2018, Nick met Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra when the lovebirds went out for a dinner date.
In an interview with DNA, Madhu Chopra revealed how it was to meet her daughter’s alleged boyfriend. Talking about the meeting, she shared, “We just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. After their family dinner date on June 22, 2018, Priyanka and Nick headed off to Goa for a mini getaway where they'll be joined by former's cousin and actress, Parineeti Chopra. Jimmy Kimmel Live! host, Jimmy Kimmel took a dig at the age difference between Priyanka (age 35) and Nick (age 25) on his show and asked the Quantico actress, "Are you dating Nick Jonas? Isn't he like, 11 years old?"
To this, Bollywood’s desi girl clarified, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun. I didn't ask his age. Eleven? We were on the same table and we already know each other. So he was like 'Hey, you wanna go together?' And I was like 'Yeah, okay, let's go together.' It ended up working out."
Nick revealed in an interview earlier that Priyanka’s Quantico co-star, Graham Rogers introduced them and revealed, "We met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the Met Gala with Ralph Lauren. And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person and I'm dying now to go to India." After dodging their link-up rumours for a year, the sparks reignited when spent the Memorial Day weekend with each other. From being snapped holding hands at the airport and dates to their social media PDA, we can expect an official confirmation soon from the couple. As of now, Priyanka prefers to keep her personal life private and stated in an interview, "When there is a ring on the finger, the world will know."
