Priyanka Udhwani and Anshul Pandey, who had played the role of 'Karishma' and 'Naman' in the famous television show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had fallen in love with each other during their stint on the show. Just like their on-screen chemistry and equation, the duo was head-over-heels in love with each other in real life too and their Instagram handles spoke volumes about it.
Priyanka Udhwani and Anshul Pandey had started dating after a year of knowing each other. And they have been together for six years. Their lovey-dovey pictures on social media had set the social media on fire. However, a recent revelation by Priyanka indicates that there is some trouble in their paradise. And in a shocking turn of events, the lovely couple seems to be at loggerheads with each other.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Priyanka Udhwani accused her boyfriend, Anshul Pandey of cheating on her. She stated that she was down with fever after getting her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and that's when things had taken a turn in her life. Sharing the details about the same, she said, "I had my first vaccine jab last week and was down with high fever. He left the house at 7 pm and told me that he would be back in a couple of hours. However, he returned only the next evening."
Going further in the interview, Priyanka Udhwani also revealed how she had come to know about his whereabouts. She told the entertainment portal, "I learnt about his whereabouts through his Instagram stories and realised that he was with a girl. I decided to end the relationship and posted about the same on my social media page." She also revealed that she feels much liberated after the breakup as it had reached such a stage that she had to take a stand.

When ETimes reached out to Anshul Pandey to know his take on the issue, he refuted the allegations and as per him, Priyanka was well aware of his whereabouts. He stated, "I don’t like to discuss my personal life, but if Priyanka is accusing me of cheating on her, then it’s wrong. One should say these things with validation and not just to put the other person down."
The actor also explained that after dating each other for six years, they should have had the understanding to clear it out first amongst themselves. He further added, "If we came as far as six years together, I am sure there must have been more mental happiness than emotional exhaustion. The irony is she hasn’t even spoken to me about this. We shouldn’t make assumptions."
