Television actress, Puja Banerjee is super excited about her dream wedding with her husband, Kunal Verma, in Goa. While the couple has signed their marriage papers in court in March 2020, they were not able to host a wedding celebration because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, Puja opened up on her best friend, Ankita Lokhande's wedding with Vicky Jain.
For the unversed, Puja and Kunal were going to tie the knot on April 15, 2020. But with the coronavirus outbreak in the world and the lockdown that followed with it, made them cancel all their ceremonies. On November 14, 2021, Puja had shared glimpses of her mehendi ceremony.

Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, the bride-to-be, Puja Banerjee talked about her best friend, Ankita Lokhande's wedding plan. The gorgeousness revealed that she had invited her first for her private and intimate wedding ceremony. She also shared that she eagerly waits to attend Ankita and Vicky's wedding. She added:
"I have known Vicky for a very long time. He was friends with Ankita first. Vicky is Kunal's very close friend. I knew about their wedding plans before the news broke out in the public domain. We four are very close. My dosti with Ankita started from the days of 'Pavitra Rishta' wherein we worked together."
Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Puja had shared the thought behind their decision of announcing their marriage. The actress said they wanted to get married in a grand affair as they were waiting eagerly for it to happen. However, the pandemic ruined their plan.

Puja had further opened up on their registered marriage. She had revealed that they wanted to finish the formalities before she could begin the shoot of her new show. She had said:
"Actually, when we registered for marriage like a month ago, we considered the time we would need to go through the process as it takes time for marriage to get registered at court and we wanted to do it before I start working on my new show as later I wouldn't get the time. We finished the formalities before I started shooting and we were supposed to have a grand affair on April 15. "
Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had welcomed their first child on October 9, 2020!
