Indian weddings are known for their lavishness and grandeur. However, every wedding has its own bloopers, and we all have witnessed it. At some weddings, the uncles and aunts throw tantrums at shaadi ka khana, and at others, brides mess up their wedding looks. Recently, an influencer bride was stopped by police personnel during her haldi ceremony.
A bride, Aanchal Arora, who is working as an influencer, was stopped by the Punjab police on the day of her haldi. In the video that has been surfacing on the internet, we can see the bride was stopped at a traffic light by two cops. However, it was the bride's prompt request that melted the hearts of the cops.
When the cops approached the car, the bride, in Punjabi, requested that it was her haldi, and they should let her go. Another person sitting in the car told the cop that they would give him laddoo ka dabba. On hearing this, the cop told the bride in Punjabi, 'Mooh mittha kara ke jana', to give him sweets after returning.
The bride looked the happiest, and she promised laddoos in exchange for challan. She waved at the two cops. While the gestures of the cops were sweet on someone's special day, the internet is calling it partiality as they know if it was a groom, they wouldn't have been spared.
As soon as Anchal Arora posted the video, it was widely shared, and netizens expressed their opinions on it. One user questioned, "If it was a groom?" Another one commented, "Bribed by laddoo." A second user wrote, "Abhi ladka hota to nanga karke Marta use." A third user penned, "Aur ladke ka byah hota to.. pakka chalan tha."
