One can never deny the fact that PV Sindhu, who won the bronze medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics, is one of the most talented athletes in the country. The badminton player had made her countrymen prouder in 2019 when she had reigned as the World champion by winning a gold medal in badminton at the World Championship. PV Sindhu has proved it time and again that why she has so many titles and honours to her credit.
PV Sindhu is the second individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games. Though we are mostly accustomed to seeing her in her sportswear and are left in awe of her calibre, her style sense and fashion at a recent outing left us all floored.

Recently, PV Sindhu looked stunning in an Anarkali set. The green intricate kalamkari work on the chanderi set was the fashion designer, Archana Jaju's courtesy. Sindhu went sans any accessories for this look and completed it off with matching mojaris. The Anarkali set can be deemed perfect for a day ceremony at this time of the year. Though PV Sindhu is rarely seen in traditional outfits, this look of hers is making us look forward to more of her ethnic attires.
The Anarkali set was a part of the designer's Revival collection and PV Sindhu did absolute justice to her look. However, what caught our attention was the price tag of the outfit. It costs a bomb. The Anarkali set is priced at Rs. 55,999 on the brand's official website. Till date, we had seen Bollywood actresses ace their look in such expensive outfits but PV Sindhu proved that she is nothing less than our Bollywood divas.

After winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, PV Sindhu had taken to her IG handle to drop a series of pictures and had penned a heartfelt post after winning the second medal at the 2021 Olympics. She had written, "I appreciate all the well wishes and words of support from the bottom of my heart. I carried it all the way through and it means the world to me, just as this medal means everything for me to represent our nation. The Tokyo Olympics has been an experience that I will not forget, from preparing for 5 years to stepping on the medal podium- each moment is forever etched with me."
Going further in her emotional post, Sindhu also stated that she could not put it into words how it felt like to hold an Olympic medal in her hand. She had added, "It’s been a day and I still have no words to describe the feeling of holding an Olympic medal, it’s always a dream come true each time. It’s never just been a solo journey for me to get where I am, I am incredibly thankful to the people in my life who have continuously been with me through it all. I cannot thank everyone, but please know that I am so incredibly thankful and grateful for each and every person who has been there with me and the journey does not stop here!"

On the professional front, PV Sindhu has won medals at almost all the major badminton tournaments including an unprecedented silver at the 2016 Rio edition.
