PV Sindhu gets engaged to Venkata Datta Sai a few days before their journey towards forever. Check out the love-filled post of the athlete as she geared up in her personal life.
Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, famously known as PV Sindhu, is one of India's most empowering women. She is undoubtedly one of the most successful athletes of India, and has won medals at various tournaments such as Olympic Games, the World Tour, and the World Championships. Moreover, the Double Olympic medallist geared up in her personal life, as she recently got engaged to the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, Venkata Datta Sai.
Taking to her IG handle, a while ago, PV Sindhu dropped a surreal photo from her engagement amidst the natural beauty. The soon-to-be-married couple's faces were smeared with happiness as they embarked on a new journey. For the day, PV Sindhu donned a royal blue-toned dress featuring sheer sleeves. On the other hand, Venkata opted for a beige-toned shirt with jeans. The couple can be seen posing for a candid moment while standing near a yummilicious cake. And the decoration of the place was also adorable, as we could see a huge hoarding adorned with flowers. Sharing the photo, PV Sindhu penned a love-filled caption, which can be read as:
"When love beckons to you, follow him, for love gives naught but itself.” – Kahlil Gibran."
It was soon after PV Sindhu's family announced her wedding that Sachin Tendulkar took to his X (previously Twitter) and shared a photo with the soon-to-be-married couple, as they invited him to their wedding. In the photo, PV Sindhu was seen handing over her wedding invitation card to Sachin, while Venkata was flashing a smile for the camera. PV Sindhu wore a printed top with jeans, while Venkata opted for a blue shirt with jeans. Sharing the photo, Sachin thanked PV Sindhu for inviting him to her wedding. He also wrote a beautiful line about Venkata and PV Sindhu's journey, which could be read as:
"In badminton, the score always starts with 'love', & your beautiful journey with Venkata Datta Sai ensures it continues with 'love' forever! Thank you for personally inviting us to be a part of your big day. Wishing you both a lifetime of smashing memories & endless rallies of joy!"
For the unversed, PV Sindhu is going to get married on December 22, 2024, and her reception party will take place on December 24. Talking about the same, PV Sindhu's father revealed to PTI that the couple's families have known each other for long, and it was only a few months ago that their wedding was finalised. The reception party will take place in Hyderabad, and the wedding was planned keeping in mind, the badminton player's routine, as it will allow her to finalise her international work commitments. Among others, her reception party will reportedly be graced by PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Neeraj Chopra and Sharath Kamal.
