R Madhavan recalled a special and unforgettable memory from the shooting of his cult film, 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein'.
The OG film of the early 2000s, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein changed many lives. The film not only redefined love for youngsters but was also considered one of the iconic cinemas. Above all, the chemistry between 'Maddy' and 'Reena' (lead roles played by R Madhavan and Dia Mirza) captivated many hearts.
In a recent interview with Travel + Leisure India, the handsome actor spoke about a special memory from the shoot of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Talking about the same, Madhavan shared:
“The fact that me and my wife got to travel first class for the very first time in our lives. We were holding each other’s hands and looking into each other’s eyes and saying, oh! We are traveling first class. This was one very unforgettable memory from the film.”

One of the most popular films of 2001, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein was directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and featured R Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film was a remake of the Tamil film, Minnale. Ever since the release of RHTDM, the chocolate boy of Tamil cinema, R Madhavan became the crush of many women.

R. Madhavan had gained recognition in Tamil cinema with Mani Ratnam’s, Alaipayuthey. One of the few actors, who has a pan-India appeal, Madhavan has done some remarkable movies like Minnale, Kannathil Muthamittal, Rang De Basanti, Guru, 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu, Vikram Vedha and many more.
Talking about Madhavan’s personal life, his love story with his wife, Sarita Birje is nothing less than a romantic film. After earning a degree in electronics, Madhavan started conducting communication and public speaking classes all over India. During one of his workshops in 1991 in Kohlapur, he met his wife, Sarita. After dating for eight long years, the two got married, and in 2005, the couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their baby boy, Vedaant.
On the professional front, Madhavan was last seen in the film, Shaitaan.
