Once in an interview, Radhika Apte opened up about her dating rumours with Tusshar Kapoor and also reacted to his sister, Ekta Kapoor, asking, Who is Radhika? Here's what she said!
In 2011, popular actors, Radhika Apte and Tusshar Kapoor were seen in the film, Shor In The City. While the film wasn’t a commercial success, it did impress a lot of critics, and even today, it is hailed as one of the few excellent films that are way ahead of their time. Apart from the film’s story, it was Radhika and Tusshar’s chemistry in the film that left the audiences mesmerised.
However, there were rumours that Tusshar Kapoor and Radhika Apte had shared the same chemistry in real life, too, that they’ve shown on the big screen in their film, Shor In The City. During the shooting and even after the film's release, reports were rife that Radhika and Tusshar had formed a connection and were reportedly dating.

In a throwback interview with Neha Dhupia on her celebrity talk show, No Filter With Neha, the gorgeous actress, Radhika Apte had opened up about her dating rumours with Tusshar Kapoor. When the show’s host, Neha asked Radhika whether something was brewing between them during the shooting of their film, Shor In The City. Answering the same, Radhika stated that neither she was romantically involved with Tusshar, nor were they dating. The actress even admitted that she didn’t even had Tusshar’s contact number. Calling the reports baseless, Radhika had said:
"There were rumors of me dating Tusshar, well, I didn’t even have Tusshar’s phone number. I used to find all this so funny because I wasn’t used to it."
Further in the show, Radhika Apte had also reacted to Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor’s controversial appearance on Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karan. For the unversed, Ekta had taken a dig at Radhika by asking Karan who is she and also called her horsey beautiful on national television. Although when the producer was asked to react to her comments on her brother’s rumoured girlfriend, Ekta had said, "Karan’s is a fun show, and the banter was like what any brother-sister has. I have no problem with Radhika." However, it was reported that Ekta’s comments on Radhika had irked Tusshar, who admitted that it was irritating to hear such things from his sister. He had reportedly said:
"I will not stand anyone talking on my personal life, and that goes for Ekta as well. It was not a fight, but more out of irritation. Radhika and I do get along, but I don’t want to label what we share."

When Radhika Apte was asked about all of this controversy on Neha Dhupia’s show, No Filter Neha, the actress had taken it quite gracefully. She had admitted that when all of this was happening in India, she was busy learning dance in London. Thus, she didn’t know the details of it. However, Radhika had admitted that when she had met Ekta, the latter had greeted her with warmth. She had said:
"When that happened, I was in London studying dance. I still really don’t know why this was said because I met her (Ekta Kapoor) after that, and she was lovely to me."
If the rumour mills are to be believed, Radhika Apte and Tusshar Kapoor’s alleged love story was one where the bubble burst even before it started inflating with the air of love.
