Radhika Apte stunned everyone when she flaunted her baby bump at the UK premiere of her movie, Sister Midnight on October 17, 2024. The actress was blessed with a baby girl in December 2024. The actress has created a niche for herself with her work in the OTT domain. Radhika has always kept her personal life hidden until she embraced motherhood. The actress once had a maternity photoshoot, and it seems like netizens have been unimpressed with the pictures that have gone viral.
Pregnancy is something that needs to be normalised. She did what looked like a nude photoshoot with Vogue and wore a slightly less transparent outfit for the shoot. During an interview with Vogue, the actress shared that her maternity photoshoot was done a week before her baby girl was born. As seen in one of the snaps, the actress was seen showcasing her fully grown bump in a brown gown. She completed her look with a de-glam look and gel in the hair. Netizens felt the look that the actress gave was of a person who ate everything and looked exhausted.

Users also said that her pregnancy shoot was normal and also shared that Deepika Padukone had also done the same. Radhika was seen showing off her baby bump in a golden-hued dress. She also posted monochrome snaps where she showcased her pretty transformation from being a lady to embracing motherhood. Radhika also looked chic in a dress that had a high neck and a massive cut-out exactly at her huge baby bump. In an interview with Vogue, the actress shared that she never wanted to make her pregnancy announcement news public. She shared that she accidentally became pregnant as she and her husband, Benedict Taylor, had not even thought of embracing parenthood. They got the biggest shock of their lives when they came to know about the news.
Radhika, going ahead in the interview, revealed that she had body image issues and struggled with the way she looked during her pregnancy. The actress confessed to struggling to embrace motherhood as she had never put on a lot of weight. Talking about her struggles, Radhika noted:
"I did this photo shoot a week before giving birth. Truth is, I struggled to embrace how I looked at the time. I had never seen myself put on so much weight. My body was swollen, I had shooting pains in my pelvis, and the lack of sleep had skewed my perspective on everything. Now, not even two weeks into motherhood, my body looks different again."
