While bidding goodbye to Mr Naidu, Raghav recollected the moment when the Vice President had taken the oath of officer. In his speech, Raghav in his valedictory remarks to share his bond with Naidu, drew a parallel with 'pehla pyaar'. Raghav shared that firsts are always special and he would always cherish Naidu as the first chairman when he started his parliamentary career. He said:
"A person remembers his first experience: The first day of school, first school principal, first teacher, first love. I will always remember you as my first Chairman."
Everyone sitting in the parliament laughed out loud at the mention of first love by Raghav. Venkaiah Naidu gave a hilarious reply and asked Raghav if love happens only once or does it happen twice and thrice. He said:
"Raghav, mere khayal se pyaar ek hi hota hai na? Ek baar, doosri baar,… aisa hota hai? Nahi na? Pehla pyaar hi hota hai."
To this, Raghav Chadha was left blushing, and he shared that he does not have much experience in it, but it is good. He was quoted as saying, "I am not that experienced, sir. But it is good, sir." After this, Naidu explained to him that pehla pyaar is good and it should last forever till the end.
