On Raha Kapoor's birthday, her 'bua', Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, shared a heartwarming picture of Samara Sahni kissing the birthday girl. Take a look!
Raha Kapoor, the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, celebrates her second birthday on November 6, 2024. When the couple first introduced her to the paparazzi, her adorableness grabbed our hearts. It seems almost like yesterday. Raha's bua, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, wished her a very happy birthday. She shared a touching message on her Instagram handle about how much she loves and adores her young niece. Raha's innocent beauty and playful nature were captured in a stunning photo that Riddhima shared on social media. The little celebrity received birthday wishes from both relatives and fans, which added to the special day.
Raha's bua, Riddhima Kapoor, shared a cute picture of Raha with her sister, Samara. In the picture, we can see Raha lovingly staring into the camera while Samara Sahni kisses her on the cheek. With her hair pulled back in a half ponytail, the little munchkin, Raha, was dressed in joggers and a white T-shirt. Her feet were covered with cute pink socks. The caption read:
"Happy happiest birthday, my cutie pie. We love you so much."
In an earlier interview, Riddhima commended Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for raising their daughter, Raha. She praised Ranbir for stepping in when Alia is at work and emphasised how he does everything with love. The star of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives praised Alia as an 'amazing mum' and claimed that Ranbir's eyes 'shine' when he sees his daughter. In addition, she refers to Ranbir as a 'great father.' When Alia is at work, she says Ranbir is responsible for looking after their child at home.
Raha's arrival, however, altered Ranbir's perspective. In addition to striving for a healthier lifestyle, Ranbir Kapoor acknowledged that he now finds it appealing to live longer. The actor from Love and War revealed that he had given up smoking, a habit he had begun when he was just 17.
On Kareena Kapoor's chat show, What Women Want, the Alpha actress recently said that Ranbir casually mentioned that the world would first see Raha's face on Christmas 2023. The parents had avoided the spotlight up until that point and asked the photographers not to take pictures of their daughter. But on that day, Ranbir proposed that they proceed, which caused Alia to become somewhat nervous.
Alia explained that Ranbir understood her concerns and reassured her by asking, "What’s your worst fear?" They talked about it on the way from Bandra to Juhu, and Alia finally understood that this was a reality and that the goal wasn't to conceal Raha's identity. Later, Ranbir walked outside to ask the paparazzi, who were waiting to hear the news, to keep quiet as they would be bringing Raha out. Multiple media sites photographed the adorable moment Raha posed with her parents, even holding their faces.
In an interview with Galatta India, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni explained that her daughter, Samara, felt jealous when Riddhima wished to hold her niece, Raha, but ended up not doing that. She also said that the only one who used to call her 'Mushk' was her father, Rishi Kapoor, and now Raha tries to say that. However, Sahni noted, "Raha called me boohaa because she struggled to say bua."
We wish little Raha a very happy birthday!
