As we all know that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s one-and-a-half-year-old munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan is often spotted on playdates with Karan Johar’s twin kiddies, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar. And they are quite good friends. But little do we know that Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh’s two-year-old son, Rahyl Deshmukh is also good friends with Taimur Ali Khan, Yash Johar, Roohi Johar, Laksshya Kapoor and Ahil Sharma.
If celeb parents often hit the gym to stay fit and maintain a healthy body, then how can their already-celeb kids stay behind. Wondering why are we giving so much backdrop? Well, Riteish shared a video on his Instagram taking up the #FitnessChallenge, #HumFitTohIndiaFit in which he further challenged his son, Rahyl.
Then Riteish and Genelia shared the video of Rahyl, on social media, taking up the #FitnessChallenge, #HumFitTohIndiaFit by doing an indoor rock-climbing workout. And he further challenged his toddler friends, Taimur, Yash, Roohi, Laksshya and Ahil. And you thought fitness challenges are only for grown-ups, duh!
While Genelia captioned the video as, “Rahyl accepts his Baba’s #FitnessChallenge ... He further challenges the Bachcha Gang... #BachceFitTohDeshFit”, Riteish captioned it by tagging the celeb parents of Rahyl’s star friends, “Rahyl accepts his #FitnessChallenge .. over to my dear friends @karanjohar @arpitakhansharma @tusshark89 #BachheFitTohDeshFit”. Karan Johar, in no time, retweeted the post and wrote, “OMG!!! Look at him!!!! He’s a rock star!!!! Am nervous to even attempt this with mine”. Not only Karan, Riteish and Genelia’s friends, Kanchi Kaul and Dia Mirza too commented on Instagram. While Kanchi commented, “This is the cutest video ever. So so soooooo happy to see him. How lovely is he looking. Uff. Toooooooo adorable !!!”, Dia wrote, “Omg” with heart emojis.
Recently, Karan Johar on his radio venture, Calling Karan on 104.8 FM, he addressed the issue of a caller who raised the topic of ‘rakhi brother-turned-boyfriend’. Speaking on the same, Karan stated, “When a guy and a girl are together they immediately ask us to call each other brother or sister. I wouldn’t mind if Taimur and Roohi want to be together, in the future.”
Karan continued, “Yehi problem hai humare desh mein. Jab ladka ladki ek saath hote hai toh immediately bolte hai ‘bhaiyya bolo’, ‘didi bolo’... Arre, bilkul nahi yaar, (This is the problem with our country. When we see a boy and a girl together, we immediately tell them to call each other ‘brother’ and ‘sister’. This should never happen)”. Karan further stated that Roohi ‘s nanny asks her to call Taimur bhaiya and that Karan is completely against it. “I am like, ‘Kyun?’ 20 saal ke baad maybe Taimur aur Roohi saath rehna chahte hai. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai unka apna. Hum abhi se hi kyun daraar daal rahe hai uss raaste mein? (Why? 20 years from now they may want to be together. Why are we creating a wall between them already?)”.
In a throwback interview, Karan also talked about how he has started spending time with Kareena because of their kids. Karan said, “It’s the same. We don’t meet that often. Now, thanks to our kids, at least we meet every now and then. The kids are not really aware because they still don’t know each other. At this age, they are just happy playing with each other. They are just familiar with the face. They are too young to recognise that strongly and miss each other. Taimur and Laksshya are at an age where they want to be around each other to just play.
