The actor clearly denied all such reports and shared, "We were not in a live-in relationship. Pooja and I own individual houses." We remember in the year 2013, the rumours of two living together has been making rounds. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Pooja had clarified it and had stated, "We’ve been living in the same area, but we don’t live together. Such things keep popping up every now and then, so it doesn’t bother me."
The rumours of trouble in their paradise hit the internet when a source close to the couple talked about their breakup in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror. However, Pooja had clarified it and said, "It is normal to have rough time and fights among any relationship. But that does not mean we have broke up or parted ways. Yes, we have decided to stop posting too many pictures of us on social media because anything in excess is not good. Also me being honest about my relationship will not stop talking if something wrong will happen. I will request people to stop speculating. Right now I do not have any plans of getting married as I am too young and need to focus on my work."
In the year 2018 when these rumours had popped up, Raj had cleared the air and had shared, "Totally false. We are deeply in love. I never talk about my personal life, but I want to clarify that Pooja and I are still a couple. Both of us have our own set of friends and we spend time with them, which doesn't mean there's trouble between us. I am focussed on a career in films, but that does not mean I will avoid Pooja."
