A recently resurfaced clip showed Rajkummar Rao calling Kangana Ranaut the 'biggest diva' he has ever worked with to date. Netizens also voiced their thoughts about the clip.
Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut has always been known for her blunt and outspoken personality. She never holds back from stating her views on various subjects, be it regarding Bollywood, Hollywood, or politics. However, Kangana's brazenness can sometimes rub her colleagues the wrong way. Seemingly, Rajkummar Rao is one of Kangana's co-stars left unimpressed with her antics. A recently resurfaced interview clip shows the actor making an interesting remark about Kangana that he later tried to laugh off as a joke.
Rajkummar Rao once appeared on the Neha Dupia-hosted talk show, BFFs With Vogue alongside Radhika Apte. A clip from the interview recently resurfaced on Instagram, and it showed Rajkummar making a rather interest remark about his former co-star and fellow actress, Kangana Ranaut. The segment seems to have been a Q&A session and host, Neha asked the actor to name the 'biggest diva' he had ever worked with. Rajkummar promptly responded, 'Kangana,' without missing a beat. Neha then laughed in agreement, telling Rajkummar that his answer was 'really good.' The actor then tried to laugh off his comment and said:
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean that."
For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao had shared screen space in movies such as Judgementall Hai Kya and Queen. The clip from the old interview, which is now going viral on social media platforms, marked the first time Rajkummar Rao had ever alluded to sharing a less-than-cordial equation with Kangana.

Netizens took to the comment section to share their opinions on the resurfaced clip, but their attention seemed to have been more on Neha Dhupia than on Rajkummar Rao. One user penned, "Neha doesn’t like that kangana is a bigger star than her." Another netizen tagged Kangana Ranaut and wrote, "@kanganaranaut he doesnt mean it."
During the song launch event of the 2019 release, Judgmentall Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, the former got into an ugly spat with a journalist, whom she accused of running a smear campaign against her. Rajkummar Rao, who had refrained from getting involved in the argument, later shared his views about what happened in an interview with Bollywood Life. Talking about Kangana's blunt attitude, Rajkummar said:
"All I can say is more power to her. There are a lot of people who like her for her honesty. She is definitely a fearless girl. She inspires a lot of girls through her work. And sometimes even I feel like, 'how can she be so fearless and open about everything."
