Comedian, Raju Srivastava Suffers Heart Attack While Working Out In Gym, Admitted To Hospital

Famous comedian, Raju Srivastava is known to leave the audience laughing out loud, with his on-point punchlines. He is the one, who can bring a smile to even the angriest person's face. However, Raju, who believes in spreading laughter in the world, suffered a heart attack while working in the gym. After which, he was rushed to the hospital.

For those who don't know, Raju Srivastava started his career by taking small roles in famous films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. However, when Raju participated in the reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, he instantly got famous for his comedy stint.

On August 10, 2022, the 58-year-old comedian, Raju got a heart attack while he was working out in the gym in Delhi. He was rushed to the hospital. In an interview with The Indian Express, Raju's team confirmed that he had a mild heart attack, and he is admitted to AIIMS. Raju's team also revealed that the comedian is doing fine and is conscious.

As per a report in India Today, Raju was running on a treadmill at the gym when he complained of having chest pain, and within a few seconds, he collapsed. The comedian is currently getting treated by the AIIMS team of Cardiology and Emergency department led by Dr Nitish Nyay. A close source from AIIMs revealed that Raju was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart.
