In a recent interview, Sunny Deol talked about the reason he doesn't like alcohol. However, it was Rajveer who talked about an incident when his dad misunderstood him as drunk.
Sunny Deol is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor, who has been providing his fans with some blockbuster movies in his more than three-decades-long career, knows well how to reign millions of hearts. Sunny was last seen in the movie, Gadar 2, and there's no denying the fact that he has left everyone in awe of his masterclass performance. For the last few days, Sunny has been providing his fans with unheard anecdotes from his life, and yet the same happened again as he talked about his experience of trying alcohol for the first time.
In an interview with Mashable India, Sunny Deol revealed that he once tasted alcohol when he was in England to be a part of the society. Talking about his experience with the same, Sunny mentioned that he didn't like the taste, smell, and after-effects of the alcohol. The actor mentioned that there are no means to consume alcohol and get unnecessary headaches. Speaking along the same lines, Sunny Deol shared:
"Ye nahi ki maine try nahi kiya… Jab main England gaya tha to maine try kia tha to be part of the society but daaru ka mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya ki itni kadvi, upar se smell itni gandi hai, upar se sar dukhta hai, toh kyun peete hain? Ye koi matab nahi hai, isiliye I never did that."

In the same interview, Sunny Deol stated that he had no idea about when his sons started drinking alcohol. The actor also said that as a father, he didn't know a lot of things about his sons, and this is how the kids in the families remained disciplined. Sunny added that his papa, Dharmendra, too, didn't know a lot of things about him, but he did what he had to do. Talking more about the same, Sunny shared:
"I didn’t know when both my sons started drinking. This has been the case in my house always. My father didn’t know many things about me. Like this, the children stay a little disciplined. A child will do what he has to do. I come from such a strict family but I did whatever I had to do but I never liked alcohol.”
For the unversed, Sunny Deol's younger son, Rajveer Deol recently made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Dono. However, the same interview was also graced by Rajveer, wherein he revealed what happened when his dad mistook him as drunk when he had only one beer. The newbie actor mentioned that once he was trying to pick something up and tripped on his dad's charger, which made Sunny think that Rajveer was drunk, and as he could smell the beer from Rajveer's mouth, he got a hint about the same. Talking more about the same, Rajveer said:
"The first time Dad got a hint was when I had had only one beer. Dad was sleeping and I was walking to pick up something because I left my charger next to his bed and I tripped on his charger and he thought I was drunk. He could smell that one beer on my breath and after that, they…”
During one of his interviews in Aaj Tak’s show, Seedhi Baat, Sunny was asked about his take on the frequent number of drug abuse cases in Bollywood. To this, Sunny defended such allegations and said how cases of drug abuse do not concern the industry from where it emerged but from the people who are a part of it. He also added people only make a fuss about it when it comes to Bollywood since it gets too much media coverage.

Sunny Deol, in one of his earlier interviews with Deccan Chronicle, talked about his voluntary choice to abstain from alcohol and drug intake. He mentioned that since he was the eldest son in the family after his father, and was also a father himself, he had to turn up responsible towards his family.
