Rakhi Sawant's ex-husband, Adil Khan Durrani reacts to the rumours of him expecting his first baby with his wife, Somi Khan.
Adil Khan Durrani is a Mysore-based businessman, who garnered the limelight over his controversial marriage to Rakhi Sawant. However, their relationship ended on a bitter note, and they washed their dirty linen in public. Earlier this year, Adil tied the knot for the second time with Bigg Boss 12 contestant, Somi Khan in a nikah ceremony on March 3, 2024. Now, rumours are rife that the duo is expecting their first child together.
If rumours are to be believed, Rakhi Sawant's ex-husband, Adil Khan and Somi Khan are expecting their first child together. However, in an interview with Times Now, Adil cleared the air about the same and dismissed the pregnancy reports. He said:
"No, no that is not true. I want to clarify that Somi and I are not expecting a baby, and we have no plans for that as of now."
Speaking along the same lines, Adil shared that she and Somi are focusing on their personal and professional lives and requested everyone to respect their privacy. He added that they visited a baby store in Lokhandwala because they needed to shop for Somi's nephew, which created a misunderstanding among people. He said:
"Right now, we're focusing on our personal and professional lives, and while we are grateful for all the love and support, we'd appreciate if people respected our privacy on this matter. The other day, we visited a baby store in Lokhandwala because we needed to shop for Somi's nephew. Of course, we understand that people are curious and excited for us, but at the moment, starting a family is not something we're considering. When the time is right, we'll be happy to share that news, but it's definitely not happening anytime soon."
Earlier, Adil Khan and Somi Khan sat for an interview with ETimes TV and talked about their hush-hush wedding. Adil revealed that his wedding with Rakhi Sawant was null and void as the latter was already married to someone else when they tied the knot. He further added that he has a right to get married again. Shedding light on his wedding with Somi Khan, Adil shared that they had a proper nikah in the presence of their respective family members. He added that both families were satisfied with the marriage, after which, they also hosted a reception party.
Talking about Rakhi Sawant’s marriage, the actress shocked everyone when she announced her intimate wedding ceremony on January 11, 2023. It was also reported that Rakhi had a hush-hush wedding after she witnessed her mother’s falling health. Taking to her IG handle, Rakhi posted the first pictures from her wedding on her IG handle, where she and Adil were seen signing the papers. Rakhi changed her name to Fatima and also converted to Islam to marry Adil.
