Rakhi had hit the headlines in 2019 when she had posted pictures of her white wedding look and had announced her intimate wedding with a UK-based businessman, Riteish. She had stated that she would introduce her husband in 2020 and her fans can’t keep calm as 2020 is going to end soon. In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 14, Rakhi revealed some shocking details of her marriage and husband. She also revealed when he will reveal his identity.
In the recent episode, Rakhi was discussing about her husband with housemates, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla. Talking about him, she said, “Tum log pray karo ki mera husband aaye show pe (please pray that my husband comes on the show).” She added, “Maine inko bola haath jodke ki bohot bade show mein jaa rahi hoon. Ho sake toh ek baar aajana. Kuch toh karo, meri izzat toh rakho.”
Rakhi further shared that her marriage is not a publicity gimmick and she is actually married. Hinting at Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin, Rakhi said, “Yahaan pe log, relationship mein rehte hai aur bolte hain, ‘Hum toh dost hai.’ Main cheekh cheekh ke keh rahi hoon meri shaadi ho gayi hai. Arre, nahi kar rahi publicity ke liye.” She also shared that her husband has promised her that he will reveal his identity before they have babies. Rakhi Sawant’s NRI husband, Riteish had stayed away from the media and was a mystery until October when he had finally came out in open and had given his first interview. In an interview with SpotboyE, praising his wife to the fullest, Riteish had remarked, “I am blessed. Rakhi is God's gift to me. I have never seen a woman like her. I think she is superior to me.” And talking about one thing he would never want to change in Rakhi, he had said, “Her outspokenness. She is very frank, and I think that's a great virtue.” Riteish had shared the news about starting a family, "I want two kids. I have a gut feeling that my first will be a daughter and the second one will be a son." When asked if Rakhi is pregnant, he had revealed, "Not yet, but she will soon be."
In an interview with ETimes, Rakhi had talked about how she was cheated by her close ally and shared, “Frankly speaking I am in need of money and I need a second chance to come to Bollywood again.” She also talked about her financial struggles and revealed, “I went bankrupt in life and lost everything in life and now Bigg Boss is my opportunity to shine.” She also revealed that she could never get her money back as the one who cheated her had died and stated that she has been suffering from depression and has stopped trusting people.
