The popular traditional festival, Raksha Bandhan, is observed on Purnima or the full moon day according to the Hindu calendar month of Shravan, and this year, it falls on August 22, 2021. The literal meaning of this prosperous festival is Raksha-Safety and Bandhan-Bond. On this special occasion, sisters tie a thread on the wrist of their brothers as a gesture and symbol of her unconditional love, care, and trust in him. Now, on this beautiful occasion, Mira Rajput Kapoor also shared some glimpses from her kids, Misha and Zain's Raksha Bandhan celebrations on her Instagram handle.

For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married on July 07, 2015, and Mira became Mira Rajput Kapoor. Since then, this stunning couple has been giving everyone major relationship and marital goals. On August 26, 2016, Shahid and Mira's first child, Misha, was born, and they had embraced parenthood for the first time. After two years, on September 5, 2018, they had welcomed their second child- a baby boy, whom they had named Zain.

A few moments ago, Mira Rajput Kapoor took to her IG stories to share a glimpse of her daughter, Misha Kapoor tying a rakhi on her brother, Zain Kapoor's wrist. The doting mommy also shared that this year's Raksha Bandhan is all about homemade rakhi, chana laddoo, Ferrero Rocher, presents and kisses. Atop the picture, Mira wrote, "I LOVE YOU MY BABIES."

The Raksha Bandhan celebrations had begun early for Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor last year, as the little ones had celebrated it virtually with the Rajput clan. Mira Rajput Kapoor had reposted the screenshot of the Zoom call that was posted by her eldest sister, Priya Tulshan. The picture had also featured her elder sister, Noor Wadhwani, with their respective kids in the frame. In the picture, Misha and Zain's faces were hidden by heart emoticons put by their mother, Mira. She had written, "Happy Rakhi" atop their virtual Raksha Bandhan celebrations.

2019 was really special for the star siblings, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, as it had marked the first Raksha Bandhan for them. The doting mommy, Mira Rajput Kapoor, had taken to her IG feed to post a beautiful family picture from their Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Misha seated on her mommy's lap, tying her first-ever Rakhi to her baby brother, Zain, who was seated on his dad, Shahid Kapoor's lap. On August 18, 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a video of her son, Zain Kapoor, who could be seen using an orange filter that had transformed his face into an orange. Apart from Zain's cute antics, the special thing about this clip was the fact that it was the first time when everyone had heard Zain's voice, and it was truly a memorable moment for Mira's fans. Along with the video, Mira had written, "Keeping that Vitamin C in check my little Z #donteatme", in the caption. While one fan had written, "His voice" followed by heart emoticons, another one had penned, "Awww" in the comment section.
