In a recent interview, Rakul Preet Singh revealed how she was the first choice of Sushant Singh Rajput's film, 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', but she had to let go of it.
Rakul Preet Singh is one of the hands-on actresses in Bollywood. The diva made her acting debut with the Kannada film, Gilli. The diva stepped into the Hindi film industry with the movie, Yaariyan. Apart from that, she was seen in movies like De De Pyaar De, Runway 34, and Doctor G. In her personal life, Rakul is speculated to tie the knot in February 2024. Recently, the actress sat for an interview and revealed that she was the first choice for the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's movie, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, to which she said 'no'.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rakul Preet Singh was asked how she manages her work life by working in both the Hindi and South films. To this, the actress revealed that, at first, it had been really tough for her to manage. The actress mentioned that she did her first Hindi film, De De Pyaar De, after a gap of four years. Rakul also revealed how, due to the date issues, she even had to say 'no' to MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, along with several other Hindi movies. Rakul said:
"Initially it was very tough. I was shooting for De De Pyaar De here after like a gap of four years, because I was constantly working there. So I couldn’t find time for doing films here. I couldn’t do MS Dhoni because of dates."

In the same interview, Rakul Preet Singh said what made her let go of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. The actress said that she had even signed the film and all the fittings were done, but the movie got pushed for 20 days. Talking about why she had to say 'no', Rakul said that during that time, one of her films from South was about to be released, and she was also doing two films with Ram Charan and Jr NTR simultaneously. Sharing that how she even cried, Rakul said:
"I had signed Dhoni, everything was done, fittings were done and then they pushed the schedule by 20 days. And I couldn’t, because at that time I had Bruce Lee that was going to release and we had to shoot a song. I was doing two films simultaneously with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. So, I could not have taken out dates in that schedule, it was an outdoor. I have cried saying ‘how could…’. So, there were 2-3 films that, at that point I was so packed, I couldn’t."
For the unversed, Rakul Preet Singh has been in a steady relationship with Jackky Bhagnani. The duo never shies away from shelling out major couple goals. For the unversed, since the last few days, reports have been rife that the much-in-love couple will soon get married to her beau. As per multiple reports, the duo will get married in February 2024 in Goa, and it will be a private affair. The duo reportedly had been enjoying their bachelor party in Bangkok during New Year's Eve.

Meanwhile, another report by the Hindustan Times revealed that Rakul and Jacky would be opting for a no-phone policy on their D-day, as they are extremely private people. On the other hand, the lovebirds reportedly invited famous celebrities from the Hindi and South Indian film industries. Sharing the details about the wedding, a close source mentioned that it would be a two-day affair in Goa, and the couple had been speculated to be closely looking over the decor and theme, which will reflect the duo's personalities.
