Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela chose a unique wildlife-themed nursery for their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela.
Tollywood’s heartthrob, Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela are cherishing every moment of their parenthood phase with their lovely daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela. The power couple of the South Indian film industry is known for their refined taste and out-of-the-box choices. And when it came to designing a nursery for their daughter, the duo chose a unique experience for her.
Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela chose a nature-inspired nursery for their daughter. The walls of the nursery were done in white, mink and pale salmon palettes. The neutral tone on the walls gave a fresh and serene vibe. Soft terracotta was used, which matched up with the colour palette of the walls.

The nursery gave a feeling of a farm with the wallpapers of birds, wild animals, fruit-bearing trees and many more. Sharing details about the design, architect, Pavitra Rajaram talked about the Buddhist architecture-inspired nursery and revealed:
“The idea was to let the nature flow into the baby's space as well. So that the bird song that the baby hears outside is reflected inside with the beautiful birds in the wallpaper and the whimsical nature of the magical forest that we used to create the wallpaper.”

The wallpaper of the room is done keeping in mind Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela's love for wildlife. The room boasts customised imprints of playful animals from Amrabad Tiger Reserve. From trees laden with fruits to caricatures of God's blessings, every minute detail has been taken care of. Talking about the same, Upasana shared:
“We both love wildlife, and my foundation works with the Amrabad Tiger Reserve, one of the largest tiger reserves in India, so the custom print has included playful animals from the region. We feel deeply for elephants and we see them frolicking in the wall print and feel their joy. The trees depicted are local state trees laden with fruit, the background has Gods in Vaahans showering jasmine flowers representing abundance and blessings. It is this beautiful natural world that we wanted our baby to see.”
Every material used in the nursery is organic, chemical free and sustainable. Natural linen, natural cotton, and undyed and unbleached fabrics are used for the room. The soft fabrics do not shed fibres so the baby girl gets to breathe fresh air. The room is designed in a manner that it gave a sense of calmness along with all the comforts for the baby.
