On his professional front, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Telugu movie, Game Changer, which will be released on September 20, 2023. In his personal life, the actor is currently enjoying the best days of his life as he and his wife, Upasana Kamineni became parents to their adorable daughter, Klin Kaara. However, since the last few days, reports have been rife that Ram Charan will soon play the lead role of eminent cricketer, Virat Kohli's biopic. Yes, you read it right. Several reports claimed that Ram Charan will soon be seen as Virat Kohli on screen.
There's no denying the fact that both Ram Charan and Virat Kohli's fans are beaming with joy and excitement at the news of the former playing the lead role in the latter's biopic. It was reported that a giant Bollywood production banner had served the idea to Ram Charan, and he said 'yes' to it.

However, the follow-up news may be a little disappointing for the fans of Virat and Ram. As per a report by Pinkvilla, Ram Charan's spokesperson told them that all such rumours are nothing but baseless, and the actor is not going to play the role of Virat. The source mentioned that Ram Charan is currently focusing on clearing out his previous work commitments.
It was in March 2023, when during an event, Ram Charan was asked if he would like to act in a sport-centric movie. To this, the handsome artist shared that he is eager for the same. Ram Charan said:
"I’m eager to do a film based on any sport. It’s long overdue and maybe a sports-centric film.”
In the same interview, Ram Charan was asked if he would like to play the role of Virat Kohli on screen. The actor gave a super-exciting response to the same by saying that Kohli is an inspiring figure, and he believes that he bears a resemblance to the cricketer. The actor also shared that it would be fantastic to do the same if he ever gets any chance. Ram Charan could be quoted as saying:
"Kohli is an inspiring figure, and I also believe that I bear a resemblance to him. If given a chance, it will be fantastic,”
Bollywood and cricket, the amalgamation of these two industries, have been melting millions of hearts over the years. The biopics of the legendary cricketers made by B-Town heroes and heroines, the alignment of the same remains in the core of the hearts of the audience. For a long time, the biopics of famous cricketers have been one of the much-loved topics amongst the audience.

Another film, Chakda Xpress, which is a biopic of the former captain of the Indian women's cricket team, Jhulan Goswami, will be played by Anushka Sharma, and it is yet to be released.
