Rana Daggubati has confessed his love to entrepreneur, Miheeka Bajaj. In a recent conversation, he opened up about her reaction to it.

The superstar of the Southern film industry, Rana Daggubati has often been linked with his co-stars, Bipasha Basu, Trisha Krishnan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh but the actor has always rubbished those rumours. The handsome hunk is known to keep his personal life out of media glares but recently broke millions of hearts with the news of being 'taken'. On May 12, 2020, Rana had confirmed his relationship with an entrepreneur, Miheeka Bajaj. Posting a loved-up picture with Miheeka, Rana had captioned it as "And she said 'yes' #MiheekaBajaj”. Soon his post was flooded with congratulatory messages and wishes for the couple.
During an Instagram live session with actress, Lakshmi Manchu, Rana opened up about how he had confessed his love to Miheeka. When asked how he proposed her, the actor replied, “I thought about it how to go and in the evening I confessed to Miheeka. She already had an idea of what was coming. I was too casual and no nervousness.” Rana also revealed that his family was shocked to know that he proposed marriage to Miheeka, but they were overwhelmed with happiness, especially his sister. He further stated that he is enjoying the attention from his fiancée and said, “It's nice and fun. She is sweet and likes me the way I'm.”
On May 20, 2020, Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s families had a formal meeting to formalise a date for the couple’s engagement and marriage. Posting a picture with his beautiful ladylove, Miheeka, Rana had written, “And it’s official!!” Miheeka had posted two pictures from the ceremony and had written, "To the beginning of forever @ranadaggubati" and "My happy place!@ranadaggubati". While the picture had looked like from their engagement ceremony, Rana’s father, Suresh Babu had clarified that the couple is not yet engaged and was quoted as saying by the New Indian Express, “It’s not an engagement. Our families sat together on Wednesday to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. It’s a ritual among the Telugus to meet the bride’s parents before fixing the engagement and wedding dates. We are happy to take these alliance talks forward.” Rana had confirmed via his IG story that it is from his roka ceremony.
For the uninitiated, Miheeka Bajaj is a Mumbai-based interior designer, who runs an event management and decor company, Dew Drop Design Studio. She is a London graduate, having completed her Masters in Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts, London. Reports suggest that Miheeka and Rana have known each other for the past ten years but had started dating two years back.
In a conversation with The Hyderabad Times, Rana Daggubati's father, Suresh Babu had expressed his joy over the newly formed alliance and had said, "During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them." Hinting at a possible winter wedding for his son, Suresh Babu had continued, "The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding."
