However, the actor has always been a controversy’s favourite child. From love affairs to breakups, the actor has stayed in the news for millions of reasons. And while he has been referred to as the most eligible bachelor, he has broken the hearts of the leading women of the film industry. We still remember his infamous breakup with Sonam Kapoor, to his alleged cheating on Deepika Padukone and his less-than-amicable breakup with Katrina Kaif.
Recently, during a media interaction at an event, Ranbir opened up about his secret Instagram account and who he secretly follows from it. He went on to name two of his exes, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, his current-girlfriend, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. And while we totally understand him following his girlfriend, Alia and actor, Ranveer Singh, it is a piece of news to know he still keeps a track of his exes. However, he had buried the ghosts of the past with Deepika and share a cordial friendship, but with Katrina, the things are still sour. And after three years of their breakup, the pain is still visible on the face of the leading actress. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Katrina had talked about her struggling phase, and had shared, “Right now I’d say my life is 80% work and 20% personal. But it’s not in our control. Right now, there’s a lot of work happening. I take it as a good thing. It wasn’t in my control when my personal life…got over.”
In the same interview, she had accepted the pain she felt during the breakup, “It’s hard to know exactly why things happened. But I have a different take on it. “Ok fine—it [the break-up] sucks, it’s terrible, this is the worst thing in the world, my life is over. Let’s sit here and believe this, even for just two minutes. Do we feel good about things? No.” But if you really believe in your god, your universe, you’ll feel much better. The reason I feel that I should say this is because there are young girls who might be listening to me. They might find something that helps them. I may see a person and think, “Oh, she’s got everything”, or “Oh, she doesn’t struggle like I do”.”
In an earlier interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Katrina had revealed how she managed to pull back when her heart was broken. She had shared, “I had to break before I could proceed to rebuild myself. I had to unravel and feel everything that had happened I had to take full responsibility for my part in the equation, what I could and should have done better. And accept that the parts that I was not responsible for were not my problem.”
She had also shared that she doesn’t hold any grudge for anyone, “Whoever it is (no names taken), I don't see the point of holding on to anything unpleasant from the past. I would rather let bygones be bygones. I don't think anyone is out there to hurt me. People are trying to do the best for you. But, sometimes, in trying to do the best for you, you get hurt. Too bad. However, I would rather have a friend than an enemy.” (Don't Miss: Abhishek Bachchan Is On Cloud Nine As His Nephew, Agastya Nanda Completes His Graduation)
