Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt is extremely close to Ranbir Kapoor, courtesy of the latter’s performance in the biographical drama, Sanju, which was based on Sanjay Dutt’s life. Not only this, but Sanjay was also extremely close to his father, the late Rishi Kapoor, as the two of them had worked in numerous films. Also, Sanjay shares a warm rapport with Ranbir’s wife-to-be, Alia Bhatt and her father, Mahesh Bhatt. Thus, no wonder the baba of the Indian film industry is quite excited and happy about Ranbir and Alia’s wedding that is reportedly going to happen this week.
In a recent interview with a news portal, Sanjay Dutt shared his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding and shared a couple of valuable advice for them that he thinks would help them in their married life.

In an interview with ETimes, Sanjay Dutt was asked to share his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage with Alia Bhatt and if there’s any marriage advice, he would like to give the lovely couple before they start their happy married life. In response to this question, Sanjay shared that he is extremely happy for Ranbir if the reports of him getting married to Alia are true. Sanjay also added that Alia was born and brought up in front of him and gave a hint about his beautiful relationship with Mahesh Bhatt over the decades. Sanjay also delivered a piece of beautiful marriage advice to the couple and also made a special request to Ranbir. He urged him to do one thing soon after his marriage, and that is to embrace parenthood. Sanjay said:
"If he is getting married, I am really happy for him. Alia was literally born and brought up in front of me. Marriage is a commitment they are making to each other. And they have to stick by that, hold each other’s hands and move ahead in happiness, peace and glory. Make kids soon Ranbir, and stay happy!"
In the same interview, Sanjay Dutt also talked about how marriage works and explained how powerful it is to have someone in your life, who has your back all the time. The actor also advises Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to assess situations and never shy away from bending in certain circumstances. Sanjay also shared that it’s important to not expect only good things in marriage, as it is a mix of smooth and curvy roads. Sharing his thoughts on the nature of marriage, Sanjay explained:
"A matter of compromise from both ends. Rocky roads will come and go, but someone will have to bend. I would only advise them to assess the situation and be on the same page as for who needs to bend in the given circumstance at that time. With every curve in the road, they have to remember that the commitment they made to each other is very important, and that is the key to keep moving ahead."

For the unversed, if reports are to be believed, then Ranbir Kapoor and his ladylove, Alia Bhatt, are expected to tie the marital knot on April 14, 2022. Not just that, it is also being reported that the adorable couple will have an intimate wedding ceremony with only 28 people in attendance. Ahead of the couple’s wedding, Ranbir and Alia will likely host a mehendi ceremony, followed by a haldi ceremony. Those two ceremonies are also going to be extremely intimate.
