Yes, we are talking about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's gorgeous white, golden and pastel-themed wedding that had taken place on April 14, 2022. For the unversed, the spark between Alia and Ranbir had ignited when the actress had confessed she had a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor on the Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan.
Well, as Alia manifested her love for Ranbir Kapoor by marrying him, here are a few deets from their wedding that you may have skipped. Many unseen and rare moments from their grand and intimate wedding have been doing rounds, and they spoke volumes about how much the guests had enjoyed the beautiful celebration of Alia and Ranbir's sacred union.

Post-wedding, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had cut a 3-tiered, beautifully decorated white themed wedding cake. In many viral pictures from their wedding, we got a glimpse of their lavishly designed cake that had a buttercream frosting. Now the owner of Le15 Pattiserrie, Pooja Dhingra revealed to India Today, that the first cake was a simple chocolate-hazelnut cake, and for the wedding party, they had ordered a 3-tiered wedding cake which had featured dried peonies and hand-painted gold accents. Talking about it further, the owner even mentioned that it took 24 hours to make both of the cakes. She said:
"We made 2 cakes for the wedding. The wedding planner wanted a simple chocolate-hazelnut cake covered with white buttercream for the first one. The flower company Interflora added pressed flowers to the cake. The second cake for the party on the 16th was 3-tier and decorated with dried peonies that had hand-painted gold accents."
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had opted for Sabyasachi couture for their wedding. Alia had looked like a royal princess as she had become a bride who had worn white at her wedding. She had donned a white and golden embroidered saree and had paired it with a similarly designed dupatta which was gracefully tucked on her head. She had accentuated her look with a broad choker piece, matching earrings, sheesh patti, unique clouds and stars kaleera and had flaunted a no-makeup look. On the other hand, Ranbir had complemented his ladylove by wearing an ivory-coloured sherwani and had paired it with a safa, a bejewelled pagdi and a layered neckpiece.

Announcing their wedding news to the world, Alia Bhatt had shared an array of pictures on her Instagram handle from their wedding. Sharing them, the new bride had penned a beautiful note and thanking everyone she had talked about the special moment in her caption that could be read as:
“Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.”
