Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt arrive at Vaastu for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'haldi' ceremony.
The day is finally here when the most celebrated jodi of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will begin their forever journey. Yes! It's Ralia's (as lovingly called by Ranbir and Alia's fans) wedding and we can't keep calm. Since morning paps and other media houses are stationed outside Ranbir's Bandra home, Vaastu to capture every glimpse from the functions.
On April 13, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor and his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were papped as they head home from the functions. When the photographers had asked Neetu about Alia, she had answered that her soon-to-be bahu is the best. Not just that, Ranbir's sister, Riddhima had revealed that the couple will get married on April 14, 2022, at Vaastu.

Ranbir and Alia's pre-wedding festivities have kickstarted and a few moments back, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Alia's sister, Shaheen Bhatt and their mother, Soni Razdan were seen heading to Vaastu for the couple's haldi ceremony. Neetu and Riddhima donned yellow and beige attires, Shaheen and Soni opted for yellow and sea green outfits.
A report in ETimes had revealed that Ranbir and Alia will be getting married as per Punjabi rituals, and Ranbir's baraat will be taken to the ladkiwalas' place. A source close to the couple had revealed:
"As per the tradition, the Kapoor family members will take a baraat procession between the Krishna Raj Bungalow and Vastu House. The entire stretch of road between the two locations at Pali Hill has been beautifully decked up with lights hanging from the trees and it looks no less than a big festival in the evening. Moreover, the police have been deployed to block the stretch for about 15-20 minutes tomorrow to ensure the baraat goes smoothly."

Do you know that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were supposed to get married in December 2020? In an interview with the Bombay Times, veteran director, Subhash Ghai had revealed the same and had said that when he had gone to meet Rishi Kapoor in January 2020, the latter had told him that he was planning for his son, Ranbir Kapoor's wedding to Alia Bhatt in December 2020. In his words:
"I remember in January 2020, when I had gone to meet Rishi Kapoor at his home to invite him to receive WWI Maestro award 2020 at our annual convocation of Whistling Woods International. We had a long chat as good friends. He was so happy to share with me that they were planning his son Ranbir’s marriage with Alia in December 2020 in a big way. But he left us all with a deep grief suddenly."
