Ranbir Kapoor opened up about the one thing he is scared of. The actor also talked about his father and revealed that therapy was not at all helpful to him.
Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor was last seen in the movie, Animal, which was one of the highest-grossing Hindi films last year. The movie's plot revolves around the complex relationship between father and son, and people also link it to Ranbir's real life and his relationship with his late father, Rishi Kapoor. Time and again, Ranbir has opened up about his relationship with the late actor, Rishi Kapoor, and yet the same happened again.
While appearing on Nikhil Kamath's podcast, People By WTF, Ranbir Kapoor talked about his relationship with his father, Rishi Kapoor. In the trailer video, the actor was seen saying that his father was a bit 'short-tempered' but he was a very good man. In the same interview, Ranbir mentioned that he had never said 'no' to his father and agreed to whatever the late actor had to say. Talking more about the same, Ranbir stated that he always used to keep his head down while being in front of his father, and was not ever able to see the colour of his eyes.

In the same podcast, Ranbir Kapoor mentioned that he has tried his hands on therapies, but they have not helped him. Talking about the same, Ranbir said that he is not against therapy, but it's just that he had to open up about himself, which is the thing he is scared of. Ranbir can be quoted as saying:
"It’s not that I’m against therapy, it’s just that I have to open myself up. And I’m very scared of opening myself up."
While promoting his movie, Animal in Hyderabad, Ranbir Kapoor walked down memory lane and talked about his bond with Rishi Kapoor. He stated that although he had a lot of love and respect for his father, Rishi, there was no friendly bond between them ever. The actor shared that the reason behind the same was Rishi's busy routine. Ranbir further stated that it was his only regret. He also added that for a child who lost his/her father, the only regret they have is not being able to spend enough time with them.

While being on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Ranbir Kapoor walked down the memory lane and recalled how his father once thrashed him. The actor mentioned that it was when he was 8-9 years old, when, during Diwali, he stepped into a mandir with his slippers. He revealed that as his father Rishi was religious, he couldn't tolerate the same and beat the Animal actor. On the same show, Ranbir said that Neetu Kapoor used to beat him with hangers.
