Ranbir Kapoor got emotional after his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt called him the 'best father' and revealed how the latter's eyes lit up after seeing Raha.

Talking about his personal life, the handsome hunk is married to the love of his life, Alia Bhatt and the duo is blessed with a baby girl, Raha.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor graced the singing reality show, Indian Idol Season 14 along with his Animal co-star, Rashmika Mandanna. During the show, he enjoyed the melodious performances of the contestants. However, amidst all this, he was surprised with an adorable video from his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt. In the video, Ranbir's loving sasur ji was in all praise for him.

In the video, Mahesh Bhatt can be heard saying that Alia Bhatt thinks that Ranbir is the best actor in the country. However, according to him, the actor is the 'best father'. Mahesh Bhatt further shares how Neetu Kapoor often says that the love Ranbir has for his daughter, Raha is something that a mother has for her child. Mentioning that he is proud of his son-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt said:
"Alia, who I believe is a miracle, says Ranbir is one of the best actors in our country. But I believe Ranbir is the world's best father. When he sees Raha, I wish you could see his eyes at that time. His mother, Neetu Kapoor, says, ‘Aisa pyaar toh maa karti hai apni bachiyo se jo Ranbir karta hai Raha se.’ I'm proud I have a son-in-law like, Ranbir."
Further, in the video, we can see Ranbir getting emotional after hearing Mahesh Bhatt's precious words for him. The actor stated that his father-in-law has never said these things to him personally. Mentioning that he has been passed by his father-in-law, Ranbir said:
"He has never said such things to me in person. So thank you Indian Idol for this. I have been passed by my father-in-law."

On November 24, 2023, Ranbir along with his Animal co-star, Bobby Deol graced the music launch of his film. During the event, the actor opened up about his daughter, Raha. When a journalist asked the actor what he said to his little one while talking on video calls, he revealed that his daughter reacted to his gestures. Mentioning how she makes a hugging gesture whenever she has to say 'I love you', Ranbir said:
"No no, she's responding, she's knocking eyes, when she has to tell I love you, she does this, she gives flying kisses. There is no bigger joy. It's the most joyful thing in life. So, I highly recommend it to all of you guys who have lots of children. Let's increase the population of our country."
