Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for his alleged involvement in an app that promotes fraudulent betting.

Ranbir Kapoor gets summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for involvement in a fraudulent betting app

According to a recent report by India Today, Ranbir Kapoor has been served a summon notice by the Enforcement Directorate and will be quizzed for his connection with the ‘Mahadev Betting Case’. The actor is scheduled to make his appearance before the ED officials on October 6, 2023. For the unversed, the Mahadev Book App came under the scanner for its fraudulent betting activities. Well, not just Ranbir, but several other leading celebrities, including Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Neha Kakkar, Bharti Singh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bhagyashree, Sukhwinder Singh, Vishal Dadlani amongst others have also been listed down for their involvement in the case and shall be summoned by the ED shortly.

When Ranbir rented his property in Pune for a whopping monthly rent

Back on September 21, 2023, a report by Money Control stated that Ranbir had leased out his residential unit of over 6094 square feet on the tenth floor of the Trump Towers in Pune. The deal, which was for a total of three years, would bWe fetching a rent of Rs. 4 lakhs per month. The report further mentioned that the actor signed the deal with his tenant on September 15, where the latter paid a security deposit of Rs. 24 lakhs. Moreover, the report stated that the rent will be Rs. 4 lakhs for the first year and will increase annually for the three-year term, scaling up to an amount of Rs. 4.41 lakhs for the final year.

When Ranbir flaunted his customised cap with the name of his daughter written on it
