Bollywood's most adored couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had become each other's forever after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14, 2022, at their Mumbai home, Vastu. The entire nation had drooled over their dreamy wedding pictures, and since their wedding, every now and then, we stumble upon a rare gem from the same.
After tying the knot, Alia had shared beautiful pictures from their love-filled wedding. For the ceremony, the gorgeousness had ditched the usual red lehenga and had instead opted for an ivory-hued saree from ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Ranbir had complemented her in a matching sherwani.

An unseen video of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's varmala ceremony is shared by one of their fan pages. In the video, Ranbir was seen introducing Alia Bhatt to his family and he said, "Say hi to my wife". As he introduced her, his family could be heard cheering for the two, making Alia blush.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Pandit Rajesh Sharma, who had performed Ranbir and Alia's wedding had shared that the family had started the ceremonies by taking late Rishi Kapoor's blessings. Revealing how Ranbir was keen to understand all the rituals of the wedding in detail, the pandit had said:
"Rishi (Kapoor) ji ka aashirwad lete huye, saare functions kiya hai unhone. It was a traditional Punjabi wedding, with all the rituals that the Kapoor family has been following. They made sure everything happens just like it has always happened. Ranbir ki iccha thi ki, Panditji puri vidhi samjha ke (shaadi) karana."

Ranbir and Alia had first met officially during the prep of a film, which never got made. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Alia had recalled the first meeting and had stated that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had wanted to make a film with her titled Balika Vadhu and she was called for the prep photoshoot.
