Ranbir shared a special message for his sister, Riddhima, who is currently in 'Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives' Season 3. He mentioned that she is so much like their father, Rishi Kapoor.
The 70s star, Rishi Kapoor had an extremely successful run and was well-known for his unfiltered attitude in the industry. Remembering their father, Ranbir teased his sister, Riddhima sharing how similar the father-daughter duo is, especially when it comes to their shared trait of anger issues.
While Ranbir Kapoor chose a career in acting like his parents, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor, Kapoor's daughter wasn’t as keen and pursued a career in jewellery design. But like they say you can take a Kapoor out of acting but not acting out of the Kapoors. Riddhima made her debut in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives S3, and her family is all set to cheer her on!
Though the Kapoor family picture portrayed Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as all hearts, the clip shared how Ranbir and Riddhima’s bond was not any different from other sibling relationships. Mama Kapoor, Neetu even shared how Riddhima used to pinch baby Ranbir’s cheeks out of jealousy. And Ranbir’s younger brother-like teasing was evident in the shared video.
Even though Ranbir teased his elder sister, Riddhima, about having anger issues like their father. He also took a moment to highlight how it is not the only shared quality between the two. Ranbir mentioned how Riddhima shares an unfiltered and honest attitude with their father, Rishi Kapoor. He shared:
"She's somebody who is very similar to my father. Whatever she is thinking, whatever is in her heart, she can express it well."
Neetu Kapoor in the clip got candid about their struggle with accepting her husband, Rishi Kapoor’s death. The actress shared how the entire family was shaken up after Rishi’s passing, and how she and Riddhima used to shudder thinking about him. For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor passed away back in April 2020, after fighting cancer for years.
Season 3 of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives premiered last week on Netflix. Along with show OGs, Bhavana Panday, Neelam Kothari, Seema Sajdeh, and Maheep Kapoor, this season has introduced some new faces, that include, Kalyani Saha Chawla, Shalini Passi, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
The show is all set for unplugged conversations and to give the audience a true insight into the lives of Bollywood wives and other influential women from Delhi and Mumbai. The season is all about the contrast and the clash between the lives of established B-Town wives and Delhi’s influential businesswomen, as they steer through their careers, family and friendships.
