Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his film, 'Animal' and mentioned that he would like to be a loving husband like his on-screen character in his real life.
Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most popular actors in the entertainment industry. He has carved his name in the film industry, courtesy of his exceptional acting skills and jaw-dropping looks. The actor has won millions of hearts by working in blockbuster films like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Brahmashtra, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Rockstar, Sanju, Barfi and many more. Currently, Ranbir is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Animal. During one such promotional event, he opened up about his character in the film and more.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor along with the entire cast of the film, Animal attended a pre-release event in Hyderabad. During the event, the actor was asked about three things he would like to discuss with his on-screen character. Responding to the same, Ranbir stated that first, he would like to understand his character's trauma, and second, he would be a little scared. However, it was his third option that caught our attention. Ranbir mentioned that he would like to imbibe one quality of his character in his real life. Elaborating more about it, he said that he would like to be a loving husband to Alia Bhatt just like his on-screen character is to Rashmika Mandanna, who is playing the role of Ranbir's on-screen wife, 'Geetanjali'. In his words:
"I think he is deeply in love with his wife, Geetanjali. Woh Geetanjali ko bahut dil se pyaar karta hai and that kind of love is something I aspire also in my life. So, I would take some love tips from him."

Further, in the same conversation, Ranbir opened up about his love for his daughter, Raha. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned that he wished he didn't have to work and added that he is thankful to God for giving him Raha. Mentioning that becoming a father is the most joyful moment of his life, the actor said that he is glad to have Raha in his life. Elaborating more about it, Ranbir said:
"I only want to spend time with her. I want to stop acting, stop working. That's all I want to do but I cannot do that. I want to pursue my passion also. But it's very joyful. It's the most happy I have been in my life. I lost my father recently and everyone who loses a parent feels like they didn't have enough time together. My father was always travelling. I respected him but we were never friendly. But I'm glad I have a daughter to love. When God takes away something, he also gives something back and I am very grateful that Raha has come into our lives."
Earlier, during the trailer launch of his film, Animal, Ranbir opened up about his character and revealed that how he never gets attached to his on-screen characters. Elaborating more about it, the actor mentioned that he always prefers to get back to his family like himself and not as someone else. Ranbir added that he would act like his character from the film, Animal, his wife, Alia Bhatt would beat him. In his words:
"I am a detached person. I never take any character home. It's not fair for my loved ones. Agar main agar jaake aise act karta toh meri biwi mujhe maarti."

During the same event, Ranbir recalled the birth of his daughter Raha and revealed that his baby girl was born during the shooting of his film, Animal. The actor shared that he would straightly go back home to meet his little munchkin after the shoot. Calling it surreal, Ranbir said:
"I was doing this film and my daughter, Raha was born toh I would shoot and then go home and see her, it was surreal."
