In a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor talked about how his father, Rishi Kapoor's death made him see life from a new perspective.
Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming movie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The actor rules over millions of hearts with his acting skills and pleasant personality. But, apart from being a fantastic actor, Ranbir is a family man. Recently in an interview, the doting son revealed how his father, Rishi Kapoor's death, has made him see life from a new perspective.
Recently, in an interview with PTI, Ranbir Kapoor talked about his father, Rishi Kapoor's death due to cancer on April 30, 2020 and how it made him realise a new perspective on life. Ranbir added that unusual happenings bring the family closer. In his words:
"The biggest thing that happens in an individual's life is when you lose one of your parents. That really is something… Especially when you're nearing your 40s, that's the time when something like this usually happens… Nothing prepares you for that, but it brings the family closer. It makes you understand life."

In the same conversation, Ranbir further said that life has many ups and downs. However, many good things also happened in his life, as he got married to Alia and was blessed with a baby girl. Talking about the same, Ranbir said:
"Lot of good things and bad things come out of it… I have been blessed with a baby girl. I've been blessed to have married Alia last year. There have been ups and downs… But that's life, right?"
Ranbir shared that sometimes as an artist, the passing away of his father has affected him. The Saawariya actor further mentioned that when his father, Rishi Kapoor had cancer, he was working on the films, Brahmastra and Shamshera. Revealing how the films remind him of his father, Ranbir stated:
"It does affect you as an artist, but I guess one can't tell it right away. Maybe after a couple of years… When my father was suffering from cancer and was going through his treatment, I was working on Brahmastra and Shamshera at that time.When I see Brahmastra now, there are amazing memories, but there are certain scenes I see and I get reminded of moments… like 'Oh! At this time, he was having chemotherapy or he was on a ventilator…' But how it helps you, I won't really realise it for a couple of years."

A few days back, Ranbir graced the famous comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. The show's host, Kapil Sharma had asked him to specify to whom his daughter resembled the most. To this, Ranbir said they are also confused about whom she looks more like. Sharing details about the same, he said:
“Hum khud kafi confused hai.. Uska chehra kabhi mere jaisa dikhata hai, kabi Alia ke jaisa dikhta hai. But achi baat yeh hai ki hum duno ke jaisa dikhta hai."
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will hit the screens on March 8, 2023.
