Soon-to-be-daddy, Ranbir Kapoor talked about sharing responsibilities with his wife, Alia Bhatt after the birth of their child.
Ranbir Kapoor is on cloud nine as he is going to be a father soon. Two months post their wedding, Alia Bhatt had announced the news of their pregnancy, and since then, their fans are drooling over the couple. From Ranbir shopping for baby clothes to Alia wrapping up her work commitments, social media is abuzz with a lot of stories about Alia’s pregnancy.
On June 27, 2022, Alia Bhatt had taken to her IG handle and surprised everyone by announcing the news of her pregnancy. She posted two pictures, where the first picture featured Alia and Ranbir in the hospital, having her sonography done, and looking at the monitor, beaming with happiness. The second picture consisted of a lion and lioness along with a cub. Along with the pictures, Alia had written:
“Our baby ….. coming soon.”

In an interview with Indian Express, the soon-to-be-dad, Ranbir Kapoor, talked about balancing life after the birth of their child. Talking about how the couple is planning to share their responsibilities, Ranbir expressed his wish to have a different dynamic with his child and said:
“Alia and I have been talking about it for some time now, how we’re going share our responsibilities and how we’re going to share our time. We grew up in a generation where our fathers were quite busy with work and were not around us, so more or less we’ve been brought up by our mothers, so we were close to our mothers. I want to have a different dynamic with my children, I want them to be close to me also."
Heaping praises on Alia’s flourishing career, Ranbir also shared that he does not want her to sacrifice her dreams because she will be having a baby. In his words:
“Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child. So we have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life and our professional life, so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it.”

On July 10, 2022, Alia was papped at the Mumbai airport. In the videos that went viral on social media, we could hear the paparazzi congratulating her and saying, "Mubarak ho." The stunning actress thanked everyone while exiting the airport. However, when she saw, Ranbir waiting for her inside his car, her expression was unmissable.
On the professional front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in the film, Brahmastra.
