They are always the second adult, who are famous for only cracking jokes in a difficult situation and knows very little about their babies. However, things get a lot more complicated, if the father is not present in the growing up years of a child. And Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor had gone through a similar phase as Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor had gotten separated when Bebo was just 7-years-old. For those who don't know, Babita had raised her two daughters all by herself and had showed the world that single mothers can give a nice future to their kids, without any outside help. In many interviews, Kareena and Karisma had showered praises for their mother and have credited her for giving them courage.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Randhir Kapoor opened up on his fatherhood journey. He said, "I think I am a decent father. I love my children very much and I am grateful that they too love me very much." The actor also talked about his separation with his wife, Babita, and said, "It is unfortunate that I am separated from my wife (Babita). She has brought up my children very well and I give her full credit. Both my kids have led their lives in a very dignified manner, be it real life or screen life. And, they have done well in their work and made me proud. What more can I ask for?"
In the same interview, Randhir Kapoor was asked, out of both his daughter, who was the naughtiest. On this, the veteran actor said, "Both. As they've grown up, they've sobered. Sab bachche naughty hote hain. Bas haste khelte bachche badhe ho jayen, toh rab (God) ki mehr hai." On the occasion of Father's Day, Kareena had shared a note on her Instagram handle and had posted a picture of her bua, Rima Jain and her dad, Randhir Kapoor. In the picture, we could see the brother-sister duo eating ice-creams. Along with it, Kareena had written a heartfelt wish that could be read as "All my favourites in a picture... And I wasn't talking about the ice cream."
Karisma Kapoor had also taken to her Instagram handle to wish her father on Father's Day. Karisma had flipped through the old family album and had shared a lovely childhood picture with her dad, Randhir. In the picture, we could see, little Karisma sticking her tongue out while her daddy was seen posing for the lens. The father-daughter duo had aced the old trend of polka dots. The actress had captioned the picture as "Dotty duo. Happy Father’s Day Papa love you. #FathersDay."
