Rani Mukerji opened up about her husband, Aditya Chopra's reaction after watching her upcoming film, 'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway', which is simply unmissable!
Bollywood actress, Rani Mukerji, who was last seen in the action-drama film, Mardaani 2, is gearing up for her upcoming film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Rani Mukerji portrays the character of a helpless mother whose kids were forcibly taken away by Norway's child welfare society organisation, and how she fought with the entire system. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, the audience reacted to the film positively. Recently, at the pre-release event of the film, Rani Mukerji talked about how her husband, Aditya Chopra reacted to the movie.
Rani opened up about how she was startled by her husband, Aditya Chopra's reaction to the movie during a pre-release screening of the film that took place in Mumbai on March 10, 2023. She revealed that after watching the movie, her husband was shocked. She further stated that he is a parent now, therefore the story apparently affected him. Talking about the same, she said:
"He was very shocked after seeing the film. He was very deeply moved and I don't think I have seen him so moved by any film. The last time I saw him like that was when Yash uncle passed away. He's a parent today and so, obviously, he was hit by the story."

In the same event, she further mentioned how her husband, Aditya Chopra hugged her in the most adorable manner. Elaborating on the same, Rani said:
"He was very sweet. He didn't give me a front hug but a side hug as if I were his child and he told me, 'Well done!' I told him a thank you. He hugged me as if he was hugging one of so many of his kids at YRF, who he's grooming. It was quite a moment."
The No One killed Jessica actress, further mentioned in a pre-release event that the filmmaker, Aditya Chopra has never praised her in front of her. However, this time, he could not stop himself from praising her. Opening about the same, she said:
"Adi praises me behind my back. If he praises me in front of me, he thinks that meri ghar ki Lakshmi mere sar pe dance karne lagegi. He tries to avoid that situation. He tries not to say too much. But I think this time, he couldn't stop himself. I didn't imagine that he would be so moved."

For the unversed, the film's story is based on a real-life woman, Sagarika Bhattacharya. A few days ago, Sagarika Bhattacharya expressed her emotion after watching her character portrayed by Rani Mukerji so beautifully. In her words:
"It's hard to put into words how it feels seeing my story being told. Watching the trailer, I felt like I was reliving my battle."
Sagarika also thanked Rani, who projected the former's journey of three years of finally getting the custody of her kids. Sagarika mentioned how Rani gave justice to her struggle story. She was quoted as saying:
"I want to thank Rani Mukerji for channeling the grief and struggles that I went through to win back my children. She is a mother herself and I thank her for bringing a mother's painful journey on screen with so much dignity that I broke down while seeing her in the trailer."
The film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway is set to release on March 17, 2023.
